President Bush arrived back at the White House this afternoon after a weekend at Camp David. The President made some brief remarks to reporters regarding his colonoscopy yesterday. Because the procedure showed no signs of polyp reoccurrence, the President will not need another colonscopy for five years. The procedure hasn't interrupted his workout routine as Bush ran three miles today and took a walk in the woods with wife, Laura. The President has a busy schedule this week before heading to Ripley, WV on the 4th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
President's Holiday Week Schedule:
Monday: Cleveland, OH- regarding domestic agenda, including the vouchers decision.
Tuesday: Milwaukee, WI- regarding religious groups in the adminstration of welfare programs
Wednesday: Washington- to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition
Fourth of July: Ripley, W.Va.- July Fourth celebration where veterans will be honored

Yuck what a godawful thing to have done. Another reason to not want to be 50. True, but at least he was kind enough not to share it with as as Ms. Couric did. Everyone, if you don't mind sending up prayer for an acquaintence of mine...Terran, who is 27 and having a double mastetomy.

It (being 50) beats the alternative, lawgirl.

Happy Birthday. Hope you tore the town up and created all sorts of trouble. Please tell us that you're NEVER gonna reform and start singing, "Ain't Misbehavin."

My mom had a colonscopy once and said the worst part was when they "blew her guts full of air". I made her laugh by reminding her that we could always tie a string to her foot and walk around with her like those "balloon animals" in the movie Shrek.

Of course we'll pray for Terran. Let her know that, too, OK? And let US know how she's doing.

What a nice way to start the week....with photos of the president looking strong and healthy, and Laura and her mom. Thank you, rintense.

Dang, 35. That's pretty darn good!

At only 27, what a shame.
