President Bush arrived back at the White House this afternoon after a weekend at Camp David. The President made some brief remarks to reporters regarding his colonoscopy yesterday. Because the procedure showed no signs of polyp reoccurrence, the President will not need another colonscopy for five years. The procedure hasn't interrupted his workout routine as Bush ran three miles today and took a walk in the woods with wife, Laura. The President has a busy schedule this week before heading to Ripley, WV on the 4th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

President's Holiday Week Schedule:

Monday: Cleveland, OH- regarding domestic agenda, including the vouchers decision.
Tuesday: Milwaukee, WI- regarding religious groups in the adminstration of welfare programs
Wednesday: Washington- to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition
Fourth of July: Ripley, W.Va.- July Fourth celebration where veterans will be honored

Thank you HSM...she and the family will need them. I do know that she had a lumpectomy when she was 16 but they were benign as well but never did have mammograms...

A friend of mine found a lump under her arm at age 29. Her doc at that time told her it's *nothing* and not to worry...that she's too young for cancer.

At 35 the lump grew...different doc...double mastectomy...6 years of stem cell replacement, chemo, and radiation. She went to be with the Lord in April. Leaves behind a husband, a son age 14 and a daughter age 12.

Had the doc used his brain when Ann was 29, she would have been with us today, I feel.

Your friend is in good hands, I'm sure. I pray the docs will have wisdom and heartfelt consideration in their treatment of her. Blessings, HM
