President Bush arrived back at the White House this afternoon after a weekend at Camp David. The President made some brief remarks to reporters regarding his colonoscopy yesterday. Because the procedure showed no signs of polyp reoccurrence, the President will not need another colonscopy for five years. The procedure hasn't interrupted his workout routine as Bush ran three miles today and took a walk in the woods with wife, Laura. The President has a busy schedule this week before heading to Ripley, WV on the 4th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
President's Holiday Week Schedule:
Monday: Cleveland, OH- regarding domestic agenda, including the vouchers decision.
Tuesday: Milwaukee, WI- regarding religious groups in the adminstration of welfare programs
Wednesday: Washington- to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition
Fourth of July: Ripley, W.Va.- July Fourth celebration where veterans will be honored

Thank you for that and your wonderful posts as well. Today in church, our sermon was what it means to be a Christian Patriot. We sang the Battle Hymn of The Republic and some other very patriotic songs today. Brought tears to my eyes.

Well, we don't really look at the thermometer here in Arizona, especially in the summer. But the paint was bubbling on my van if that tells you anything. :o)

Yes, I do remember that.
Something we can all remember if any more attacks happen. Let's pray nothing happens this week - or any week. Everyone be alert and enjoy this 4th of July week if you can! For me and mine, we work this week...but we will still enjoy it!

No. To get rid of any mammal. Possums, bats, raccons, people, set out pans or buckets ,( in the middle of room or area) of household ammonia. They don't like the odor.

I use diazinon and that grub ex crap. Just read some website that suggests using something called Milky Spore, which is some bacteria that kills grubs and insect for up to ten years. Has anyone ever used this?

My mom had breast cancer and eventually died of lung cancer back in 1983. My prayers are with her and all she will endure. Words can't tell you how sorry I am to hear this, but hopefully she has Jesus as at the time I did not and it was very hard to see my mom suffer. I was not a believer at that time and ohhh boy what I missed and could've shared had I had him in my life. I will pray for the entire family for they will also need many prayers for strength, patience, love and God guidance.
