President Bush arrived back at the White House this afternoon after a weekend at Camp David. The President made some brief remarks to reporters regarding his colonoscopy yesterday. Because the procedure showed no signs of polyp reoccurrence, the President will not need another colonscopy for five years. The procedure hasn't interrupted his workout routine as Bush ran three miles today and took a walk in the woods with wife, Laura. The President has a busy schedule this week before heading to Ripley, WV on the 4th. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
President's Holiday Week Schedule:
Monday: Cleveland, OH- regarding domestic agenda, including the vouchers decision.
Tuesday: Milwaukee, WI- regarding religious groups in the adminstration of welfare programs
Wednesday: Washington- to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition
Fourth of July: Ripley, W.Va.- July Fourth celebration where veterans will be honored

Thank you, DrDeb!
We were hoping he'd get a chance to call us tonight, but he didn't. They're working him pretty hard, but he's already a third of the way through basic, and he says time is flying.
I wouldn't mind hearing his voice, though. :o\

You're sure right about being in shape! When you consider how many couch potatoes are out there, you can understand how guys that come in in good physical condition do so much better.

One of the shortest, most memorized passages in all the history of the world!
Psalm 23
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Night all -- I've got an early morning test!
Remember: Call Senator McCain (I posted his number on yesterday's Dose)-- we need the President's judges appointed now!

Ok everyone. I have a lawncare question. I have some evil critter destroying my lawn. I suspect moles but I'm not too sure. I can see the raised tunnels and small enter/exit holes. No mounds. I've tried spraying my yard with castor oil- no luck. I just put poison peanuts in the active tunnels and am hoping this works. Does anyone have any other proven treatments? I always treat my lawn for grubs, so I'm not sure what's keeping them here. This is the worst they have ever been.
