Former Vice President Al Gore, on the evening of a political retreat with Democratic Party supporters and fund-raisers, said in an interview Friday that, if he decides to challenge President Bush in 2004, he would consider reuniting with U.S. Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman as his running mate.

"Of course" Lieberman would be in contention, Gore said.

Lieberman has vowed to quit his own presidential campaign if Gore steps into the race. Referring to that pledge, Gore said Friday, "I like what he's doing."

Gore and Lieberman: Dire straights and dour face. Not exactly the Laurel and Hardy of politics yet, but with a little more work, they'll get there.

"I like what he's doing."

Ahhhh, but does Joe like what YOU'VE been doing, Big Al? How many jobs have you held in the past 2 years? How much weight have you gained & tried to lose? How many times have you donned a goatee, only to shave it off a couple of months later? What about the Sweatin' to the Oldies Speech? That didn't go over too well, Big Al. Methinks that Lil Joe is now looking for his own running mate. It's not you, Big Al.

LIEberman has as much chance of being President as I do! Gore only got all of his votes by massive...MASSIVE voter fraud. My brother told me of one guy he knows that voted 3 times for Gore...and this is an adult 60 year old man with a good job.

Such voter fraud as that needs to be better sniffed out and dealt with in the harshest possible manner. Anyone proven to have voted more than once deserves 20 years for each instance and ignorance of the law should be heartilly laughed at as the book gets thrown!!!

My husband thinks that in areas where it is KNOWN voter fraud has occurred previously, Federal Marshalls should be on hand as a reminder that such shenanigans will result in swift arrest. Any ideas on how best to carry such a "sniff-out" program?

Your posts remind me of a clip I saw of George W. Bush during the 2000 presidential campaign. He said something to the effect - and if you don't vote for me, please, vote only once. How astute!

I'm afraid it will take a complete overhaul of our current voting system to prevent fraud. I doubt if our senate majority leader would ever step up on his soapbox to push such reform.

listen here, quit defaming the three stooges. Moe, Larry, and Curly were good honest hard working people. Maybe you didn't like their humor but they weren't scum of the earth types like algore and joe Lieberman.

It amazes me that anyone would even consider voting for Al Gore. He is intellectually challenged. He believes his own bu$$ shi$$ and expects us to believe it too.

His answers to really easy questions are full of dodging and weaving, leaving one with the impression he either does not understand the question (which is simple) or he's so afraid he will make a boo boo with his answer he just blathers until the interviewers become catatonic and move on.

When delivering a speech his content is flawed, backed by lies, and full of homey phrases ( I guess he thinks that makes him a Joe Sixpack too)and chock full of flights of fancy. Delivered to a captive audience by a personalityless, sweating, totally unappealing guy. The very thought of being kissed by him causes me to shudder and break out in hives.
