Korean Defense Ministry announced it just a little while ago. This occured in the morning hours of 29 June, around mid morning. Looks like two DPRK intruding ships. Might be the area where there was a lot of shooting a few years ago. Reports are of wounded on ROK side.

Don't worry. Cheney won't put up with this kind of behaviour from the NKor's or the ChiComm's. Even if GW is undergoing a voluntary procedure tomorrow AM, it won't change things.

If the NKor are stupid enough to flinch one inch over the parallel, they'll be pasted by a UN force from the south lead by US. Pyongyang shouldn't leave themselves so easily vulnerable to being the next target in our war on terrorism.

NKor missiles have been fired over Japan and towards our shores. NorKor communists should know that their days are counting down on the cave wall where they hide.

Two intrusion vessels from North Korea. South Korean Coastal Guard (or Navy, not clear) issued warning.

They were met with fire. The Japanese using the words "kosen" or 'exchange of gunfire.' Probably not major but enough excitement for a slow news day. More to come probably.

South and North Korean Navy Exchange Fire, Five Injured

If 'yall recall, the two of these had a good fistfight in June of 1999. This is the first time this year there has been any gunfire exchange. But for sure it is nearly the TENTH time the DPRK Naval Forces have come into the South's territory. They hightailed it this time after a 30 minute battle, it looks like. Not much more than that right now.

Keep us up-to-date, especially if any more gun play occurs.
