[history]
To the Immigration and Naturalization Service, he was an illegal immigrant who sneaked into the country and lied about it. But to dozens of people rallying yesterday outside the John F. Kennedy federal building in downtown Boston, Jaoudat Abouazza was a cause celebre, a man who they say was detained by the INS for three weeks simply because he is a Palestinian activist.

a man who they say was detained by the INS for three weeks simply because he is a Palestinian activist. And the problem with this is . . . ? He is an illegal alien after all.

Pali-sympathizers make me ill. Illegals should be deported, but this guy should be dealt with more extremely than normal to make an example of him, and all those who say to free him should be watched alot more carefully.

so what good is the INS..the judge says send him back to Canada..what so he can come right back in again..he just wants to go home...booohoooo..grabs the judges sleeve and blows my nose..Sorry your honor!

I went to school in Cambridge, MA, and lived there a bit longer. Don't be fooled. You can get a small crowd of people there to line up for anything, but 60 people is a real small crowd for something like this. I take it as an indicator that the vast majority of people would agree with the feelings here.

Something about this looks funny, though. They say he was in a Bristol County facility? Boston is in Suffolk County, and Cambridge is Middlesex County. Why was this guy in Bristol County, I wonder?

But, what about the stolen plates? Voluntary return to Canada? Look at what we know about this guy being a badie; look at what we know about him being OK (nothing). Why would ang judge let him walk out the front door on his promise that he would he'd back north to Canada? How could anyone believe he'd go and how could anyone believe he wouldn't come back?
The only explanation is that he is working for us. Why don't the Israeli representatives in this country (you know who you are) routinely contact these guys and take pictures and then release into the Muslim community hints the the Arab and Mossad reps have a business relationship?
