If you can't call it homophobia, then what should you call it?

So say eggheads from the University of Arkansas in a new study, and I guess that means lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders, queers, questionings and anyone who vaguely resembles them may now feel free to waltz anywhere, hand in hand, without fear of reprisal. Yay!

Call it a necessary tool in the fight against the far limp, er, I mean the far left.

I think the focus on disgust is correct. I think that claiming it is entirely socially constructed is not. If, as gays claim, being gay is genetic and not cultural (that is, a gay's attraction towards members of the same sex and lack of attraction towards the other sex), then why can't disgust at same-sex sex be similarly genetic.
I wasn't supposed to notice that, was I?

Typical tactic of the Left.
Disagree with them, and they'll insist you are mentally ill. And they will teach children that their parents are mentally ill as well, if they disagree with the homofascist agenda and behavior.

How about "Common Sense," "G-dliness," "Wisdom," etc? That't the strategy of the ultraleft and their LP allies: change the subject, try to put the onus on the other side. Homosexuality is wrong, always will be, regardless of whether the majority agrees or not...PERIOD!!

You can call it homophobia all you want.
I call it a deviant perversion which induces disgust.
Whatever floats your boat...
But fear it's not.

Gay-bashers, it turns out, do not suffer from homophobia, at least in the clinical sense. They suffer from homodisgustia, my new favorite word; that means they'll go right on attacking until and unless their attitudes are reformed in a social context, preferably -- and this is just me -- in a teeny, tiny jail cell with no lights but plenty of rats, because rats are social, aren't they?
So, who's bashing who? This pervert wants me to become socialized like some sort of lobotomized rat. Think again, gay blade. Go F*** yourself!

"Sodomists" is what RobroysWoman and I call them. Sometimes you need to create the right word picture to truly communicate to other people

"You know the one: My client is a good and kind and gentle man, or was until that depraved homosexual individual affronted his masculinity, not to mention his virginity, by appearing to evince sexual interest in him.
So when my client bludgeoned that individual to death with a claw hammer, stuffed his remains in a Dumpster, set that aflame, fired nine shots into it with a semiautomatic pistol then pushed it off the pier and into the river, he was only doing what any other sane heterosexual man would do when temporarily panicked by a homosexual attack. Your Honor"
Sound like a perfectly logical defense to me :)

The hair-splitting masks the truth that prejudiced people are, in the lay sense, sick. No, the truth is that all people are prejudiced. It is part of the makeup of man. Show me someone who hates what they call homophobes, and I'll show you a Christophobe! Everyone carries prejudices with them - and many are appropriate and necessary for survival.
This guy is so intellectually disingenuous as to be laughable. It is a very poorly written article to be swooned over by his immediate friends and family...

Modify any noun with the word "basher" and, voila!, instant victimhood. Cf. "Clinton-basher", "Gay-basher", etc.

Disgust is about right. Fear has never been the right word, it's disgust.
