Our Nation's Motto - a Poem to the Pledge
email from mrrpayne@yahoo.com | 12-02-00 | Ronald Payne

Dear Friends of American Heritage,

We must be vigilant and keep this outrageous ruling from
the Ninth District Federal Court to stop and be overturned
today by the Supreme Court.

The poem I wrote, Our Nation's Motto, has been sent to
several of the media outlets that I am in contact with.
The headlines of yesterday would make it sound like I
just wrote the poem. However, I penned these words 12-02-00.

Your Friend,

Ron

"Our Nation's Motto"

12-02-00 by Ron Payne

Our national motto is being attacked everyday,
In our courts of law because men refuse to pray.
Many pledge allegiance to the American Flag,
Then retract their statements and discard it as an old bag.

But I know of many, who place their trust in God,
As they say these words, "One Nation Under God".
They go to God in prayer as He leads our great land,
And pray for God to keep us from the evil hand.

So I ask you soldiers, the precious and the few,
Stand up and salute our flag and God will honor you.
So by our example our motto will remain,
Because we have the integrity to call upon God's name.

Our national motto, needs our daily prayer,
And pray for God to send us lawmakers that really care.
About the lives who have died to make us the land of the free,
While hundreds die daily to live in freedom with you and me.

"In God We Trust" allow us to rise and take a stand.
In our home of America, the citizen's freedom land.

Petolicchio, referring to the Declaration of Independence, said, "America's founders argued that our rights emanate from the Creator, not government. Our founders in drafting the Declaration of Independence were tearing down the concept of the divine right of Kings, which held that the people are granted rights from the King who was the embodiment of government. Instead our founders insisted that our rights are granted by a higher authority than government. The ninth circuit decision is nothing less than an effort to reinstate the divine right of Kings."

From www.SixtySecondactivist.com:

Dear Subscriber,

Here is today's ACTION ITEM:

ISSUE: We need you to forward this e-mail to EVERYONE YOU KNOW right away!

This time the liberal judges have gone too far. This time, they have taken away our basic right to say the Pledge Allegiance to our own flag.

And, it's time we said, "Enough is enough!"

We need to join together NOW in doing just that, by demanding that the U.S. Senate pass an ironclad amendment to the Constitution that protects our precious Freedom of Religion -- once and for all!

There is already a bill in the House of Representatives containing just such an amendment. It was introduced by Rep. Ernest Istook (R-OK), and it is called HJ Res. 81, the Religious Freedom Restoration Amendment.

Members of the Senate could adopt their own version of it in just one afternoon if they so choose. Well, it's time for us to tell them -- by clicking below -- to do it now!

For over 40 years -- ever since they banned prayer in our schools -- liberal activist judges have waged war on our right to worship our own God in our own way. Time and again they have banned freedom of worship from our schools, from our offices, from our parks and playgrounds - and even from the lips of our little children.

Now, their agenda is all too clear: They want to wipe God out of America once and for all -- and gag those of us who even dare to acknowledge His existence.

Of course, liberals in the Senate, caught by surprise, are acting like they disagree with this. But, the fact is, they have allowed liberal judicial activism to continue for over four decades. And, if they are really serious about ending the judicial war on religion now, all they have to do is pass a Senate version of the Istook Amendment. Anything less is lip service.

So, please, take just a moment to click below and tell each member of the Senate -- and the President -- to adopt the Istook Amendment, restore Freedom of Religion, and give us back our basic rights!

Rep. Istook's proposed amendment was introduced in the House of Representatives back in January... but it hasn't even been introduced in the Senate yet! NOW is the time to get the Senate to MOVE on this bill, and YOU can get them moving!

ACTION ITEM: We've set up a website where you can send "FaxGrams" to ALL 100 SENATORS at ONCE, urging them to support H.J. RES. 81, the Religious Freedom Restoration Amendment. The cost is only $21 to send ALL 100 faxes -- less than it would cost you in time and money to send them yourself, and it only takes a minute!

Please CLICK BELOW NOW to send your faxes to the ENTIRE SENATE now, to Save the Pledge and Restore Religious Freedom:

https://secure.chargedcontribution.com/pledge/ssa.asp AOL Users click here

NOTE: If you can't afford to send your 100 FaxGrams right now, you can still send a FREE email to your Congressmen, urging them to support the Religious Freedom Restoration Amendment -- go to http://www.conservativehq.com/062702.htm to send your email now.

PLEASE, be sure to forward this e-mail to EVERYONE YOU KNOW right away -- this proposed amendment still hasn't been introduced in the Senate yet, so we need to act FAST, with LOTS of people demanding action against this radical leftist court ruling NOW. Thank you!

----------------

Please contact your congressmen and senators, regardless of party affiliation, to demand that the Justices be impeached.

Of the past 29 decisions made by that court, 27 have been overturned that have been accepted on appeal by the U.S. Supreme Court which is a clear indication that these justices are out of touch and wasting taxpayer money and should be impeached.

My teacher makes me pee
While telling me I'm free
Somehow the pledge seems hollow

Here's a letter I've drafted to send to a few WV newspapers (probably Parkersburg and Morganhole):

Our West Virginia senators, Robert C. Byrd and John D. Rockefeller IV, nearly broke their necks Wednesday rushing to the microphones and before the TV cameras to proclaim their disapproval of the court decision striking down the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance.

We all know that goofy decisions like this are made by extremist left-wing judges who use the Constitution like so much toilet paper.

Will Senators Byrd and Rockefeller be quite so eager to tell Sens. Tom Daschle and Patrick Leahy to stop obstructing President Bush's efforts to fill judicial vacancies with men and women who actually respect the Constitution?

Pres. Bush has nominated two for vacancies on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the same whacko court that issued Wednesday's ruling, but the hyperpartisan Daschle and Leahy haven't even scheduled hearings over one year after the nominations were submitted.

How about it, Senators?
