[history]
The U.S. Forest Service employee accused of starting the largest wildfire in Colorado history was released Thursday on $600,000 bail.
As a condition of her release, Terry Barton, 38, will be required to stay at a halfway house and get mental health counseling. She is also not allowed to leave the state or enter a forest.
At a hearing, Barton quietly answered "yes" when asked if she understood the agreement.

The only phrase that comes to mind is "burn the witch!" But, the US can't execute retarded people anymore.

Barton has allegedly told authorities she sparked the fire accidentally while burning a letter from her estranged husband. She couldnt have just dropped a few fake lynx hairs like everyone else?

She should only be released when all of Colorado is covered with at least 3 foot of snow.
Then, she should have to run a guantlet of people, who lost their homes with bull whips, for her food and any shelter. Shelter should be limited a use RET summer tent with a moon roof. She can only sleep in a burnt out area.
Poster girl for Forestry Service. I wonder if she was a card carrying Club Sierra member?

And exactly where did this part-time Forest Service employee come up with that kind of cash??? Any privately employed citizen would have the IRS knocking on the door to their own halfway house after coming up with that much money on a weeks notice...JFK

Like to see her come into contact with some of the folks who have lost homes because of her. Folks who have lost everything they ever had worked for.

Poster girl for Forestry Service. I wonder if she was a card carrying Club Sierra member?I'll bet she is and wouldn't THAT be just the right touch to seal this deal.
If she was, you can bet the Club Sierra diversity shredders are going faster than Arthur Andersen ever knew how! Hard drives being systematically purged of those pesky membership rolls.
You get my freepmail?

She can't enter what forest??? Released on Bail? If she was a registered Republican they would have locked her up and thrown away the key!!! Halfway house? Halfway to where, Hell?
To: BADROTOFINGER
Heard on local radio that her HUSBAND put up the house as collateral. Hope he didn't write her a letter to tell her.

At least they didn't keep her on a suicide watch. She needs some alone time with ropes and things.
