That white castle hamburger makes me wanna hurl. The last time I ate one was 2 years ago on Christmas eve when we were doing some last minute shopping. I was sick as a dog Christmas Day, puking up my guts...so was our nephew. OMG...I hate White Castles. They ruined my Christmas.

I don't know much about this because I've never seen it, but we have several nephews (close to my age). My husband and all these nephews say, "Take off Hoser", "no you take off Hoser", "Take off eh". LOL

What are they doing? I know this is a Canadian thing, eh?

Have dealt with it for 28 years so I take it in stride, and doing rather well considering in 1985 my doctor said to expect to be buried within a year - and more than likely 4-5 months from what he knew and saw!

I stopped the nephrologist when he gave me the results of the kidney biopsy, the diabetes thickening the walls preventing adequate filtration, to tell him it was all right - I knew The Great Physician and it is HIS timetable.

I worked in that major hospital for 15 years; after the biopsy for 9 of them, in their face..:)))

The Lord has a sense of humor, they going by black letters on white paper texts, so they'd understand He IS in charge of each life.
Interacting with nearly all the hospital personnel in my position, they kept looking for deterioration they knew was inevitable and I kept on trekking the halls as cheerfully as ever.

I'm having the best time of my life since finally being placed on Time Out in 1994, the Internet leading me to the likes of those on Free Republic.

My newest Secret Weapon is being placed on Procrit in April.
Let me allay your thoughts about that - not for cancer like the grandfather wanting to get a Big Boy bed for his grandson, but for years of anemia with the kidneys unable to produce enough red blood cells.

For the few of you old enough to compute this, it is the equivalent of Kickapoo Joy Juice from Al Capp..:))

Injecting the Procrit 3 times a week is no big deal.
Every day I test my blood glucose 4-6 times and inject insulin (2 kinds) in 6 shots a day.

God, I figure, still has some things He wants me to do, and I refuse to rock on the front porch and vegetate - I instead sit in the computer chair and ROCK! LOL
