Democrats fail and Republicans make the honor roll when it comes to reducing illegal immigration.
The end of the school year is a great time to look at congressional members' grades on an important issue heading into the first post-September 11 election year.

Oh yeah. They get an A+ for having done a great job. And this is reflected in many of our major cities all across this country.

NewsMax.com ^ | Friday, October 26, 2001 | Phil Brennan Reprinted from NewsMax.com 8 Million Illegal Aliens Swarm U.S. Phil Brennan, NewsMax.com Friday, Oct. 26, 2001 At a time when the U.S. faces an internal terrorist threat posed partly by illegal aliens, a shocking new report from the U.S. Census Bureau reveals that there are as many as 8 million illegal aliens - or more - in the U.S. Incredibly, the number of illegal aliens living in the U.S skyrocketed by about 400,000 to 500,000 a year in 10 years, jumping from the 3.5 million estimated to have been here in 1990 to 8 million last year.
Actually this figure has been updated to as many as 15 million now in the United States.
Yes our leaders and elected official have done a fantastic job.
Yeah, your right. And such a trivial issue too.
LOL! I don't remember ever addressing a post to Joe before now, but according to you I am "constantly complaining" about him. Perhaps you can point to even one single other post where I even so much as mentioned him, much less complained about his Johnny-One-Note mindset.
I've said it before in two words - Pim Fortuyn. Two month old party got almost 20 % of the vote.
Lets go down memory lane a couple of days. Heres one.
My post: "Oh, so none of the 9/11 terrorist were in this country illegally? I could have sworn several were here on expired visas."
You responded:"Do you seriously believe that 16 of 18 hijackers would have been thwarted without the two who might have been stopped by a Vice President Lenora Fulani? Would you like to buy a bridge in Brooklyn, too?"

You obviously don't realize that if two the the terrorist that were in this country illegally, had been caught, through evidence, apartment searches, making them turn, or other investigative techniques, yes this historical terrorist attack could have possibly been thwarted if authorities had taken previous threats seriously.
Ah, yes. Everyone's pet cause becomes the lightning rod since 9/11. The Libertarians claim that if recreational poisons were legalized then the attacks would never have happened. The Buchanaites claim that illegal immigration was the cause of the attacks. Maybe they need to get together and kick out only those illegal immigrants who do not stick needles in their arms or inhale powders.
Myself, I am convinced that if the police were not so busy handing out speeding tickets and the street sweepers were not out there sweeping streets then the attacks would never have happened.
Ah, just curious, but what are all these pet causes? And how do they relate to 9/11. I haven't heard of any? And I was very serious about your post:

Don't you realize a good investigator uses every scrap of information? History could have been changed if the two terrorist from 9/11 that were in this country illegally, had been caught. Through evidence, apartment searches, making them turn, or other investigative techniques, yes this historical terrorist attack could have possibly been thwarted if authorities had taken previous threats seriously.
