Tonight I learned that Craig Crawford trolls free republic.
Craig Crawford a former Carter whitehouse aide and Executive Publisher of The Hotline was on tonight posting about how one of the judges who was involved in the flag issue was appointed by nixon.
He stated this on the John Paul and Alexander show. 6-27-02. If the Executive Publisher of the hotline trolls this site who else posts here? Dan Rather? Ok I think not but it does make you wonder who some of the liberal trolls are as well.

The 2 Judges that for against the pledge..1 was from Nixon, one was from Carter and the one judge that said they were stupid was from George Sr.

I don't want to be picky, but the knowledge that that judge was appointed by Nixon is nowhere near exclusive to FR. I saw them talking about it on some news show within an hour or so after the decision came down.
However, as an ex-network type, I can assure you that plenty of people in the liberal national media read FR every single day. Reporters love to see their stories posted here and ripped to shreds; it makes them feel important, like they've "made it." I know more than one Known Name that actually gets mad when their stories AREN'T reposted here. They wonder what they did wrong, if their news wasn't juicy enough or something. It's pretty funny.
Anyway, I think most Freepers would be amazed if they ever saw a server log from this place. I'll bet the domains every major news organization, paper, magazine, and political institution in the country show up there with amazing regularity.

Craig Crawford a former Carter whitehouse aide... Hi Craig, I know you're reading this. Welcome to FR. Please realize that we don't remember you, care who you are, or give a rip about your opinion. As a shill for a failed president, your entire career can be summed up as a footnote to a footnote somewhere in a dry snoozer of a book on Jimmuh Carter's administration.
What a pity you didn't decide to do something worthwhile with your life.
Have a wonderful day, and enjoy your troll through our fine forums. ;-)

She mentions us in her book -- WHICH IS GREAT -- I read it in one sitting. She perfectly captures the essence of a republican household on Sunday morning.

Interesting! I'd have thought those folks would be too busy for FreeRepublic, considering how much of their time they have to put into producing the thoughts and opinions FReepers consume.
Well, if they're among us, they know we think well of them, and maybe that's their fuel for the fight. Nice to think we might be contributing.

I don't think he will, but Jim Robinson might.

I started as a fairly liberal disrupter troll and became a convert (well, on some issues, anyway). I hope it happens to some of these folks. If it doesn't, however, they must be hardened in cynicism.
