Who cares? These "petitions" are a joke anyway. Feel free to join the petition flame war, I've got better things to do.

I put a poll together once, with a petition in favour of the sun rising from the Eastern sky when viewed from the showboat Gargantia on the Mississipi River.
...23 percentile disagreeing with the affirmative.....
Thank you, Federalized union of the N.E.A.

Neighbor- I'm not looking to start a fight, just curious- what are we supposed to do about it? I'm not inclined to add spurious signatures to "counter" them. My inclination is to let the clowns to their own devices.
It would probably accomplish more to write or call our "critters" in DC and our state capitols, write to newspapers, call talk radio- the usual activist stuff.
FWIW, I think the 9th Court really shot itself in the foot with this fool decision- average Americans are not going to take kindly to it at all.

Your right backhoe. Average Americans are going to take notice...And (off topic) not all Dem's are radical liberals (not that you insinuated anything as such in your post). I know quite a few of the "older" crowd that vote's Dem simply becuase they have all their lives are fuming pissed over this. The 9th screwed the pooch on this one. They fully illustrated the fundamental problem with this country today; ruling's and law are going for the minority, not the majority. The special interests are why we are so screwed up today. This little atheist puke that brought this on just helped skyline the tip of the iceberg.
