Rush is worked up and back to the form that first drew me to him.
If anyone calls him today ask him to put that Reagan/Clinton comparison on his site.

Thank you.

Rush is blaming the collapse of Enron, Anderson, WorldCom, etc., on Clinton ideology. That may well be true. But, if GWB doesn't get a handle on the economy and these major corporate collapses, they will reflect on GWB. After all, it is GWB's watch now.

Rush? Who is that? Didn't he die on the table.....Relevant to what?
To: TomGuy
I think he is, and there is one major reason why:
People trust him. When he says they are going to look into it, they will.
And when the results of the investigation come out, they will be trusted as well.

High-profile business collapses are likely to give the Dems strong majorities in both houses of Congress this November unless the Repubs can do fast and effective damage control. People neither know nor care that all of this was gestated during the Clinton Party Years.

Rush is blaming the collapse of Enron, Anderson, WorldCom, etc., on Clinton ideology Of course it is exactly that. Remember that he was elected, so he is a symbol of what the voters wanted.
To: BIOMAN
RUSH thinks you should go out & buy stock now. He also thinks the pubbies will take over the Senate. He also thinks that America is becoming more conservative. He also thinks that Kallstron is a decent HONEST individual & on & on. You get the drift.

TomGuy - I'm a financial guy so I know that when the books have been cooked the CEO,CFO and several others know they are committing fraud. - These folks cooking the books are getting cuaght now - What else can Bush do, the accounting for them. Face it - this all goes to the character issue. Clinton's contribution to this is when he put the media in the position of defending him with "the everybody lies it's okay". Any financial guy who cooks the books is a idiot and a crook just like Clinton. The only thing that Bush can do now is propose laws to tighten up the way audits are handled and companies report and to make sure the justice department goes after those who break the law.

I'll think of buying stock after the DOW hits the 7200 mark (MAYBE)!

The only changes in accounting laws and practices by congress that I would support would be ones that they themselves have to obey.
The Imperial Federal Governments accounting practices make Enron's look pristine.

Rush Limbaugh? Isn't he the guy who wants us to invade Iraq
but avoided military service because he had a boil on his butt?
To: TomGuy
"...if GWB doesn't get a handle on the economy and these major corporate collapses, they will reflect on GWB." Of course to a certain extent, but the fraud associated with these companies' collapses was committed in the mid- to late-90's and is just now being brought to light, in part because we have a law-abiding leader in our Executive Branch. This case cannot be made too often as the Vast, LeftWing Medyuh Whore'd will do everything in its Power to convince the electorate otherwise!!

Yeah, he has been comparing clinton and President Reagan and the effects of each on society.((((yawn))))
Klintoon = vile, corrupt, evil
Ronald Reagan = honest patriotic American
I certainly agree with the above statements wholeheartedly
but Rush needs to be more in tune with current events.

I agree completely with the assessment. But, it won't fly if companies are still tumbling prior to 2004 election. People vote with their pocketbooks. By early 2003, we'll be hearing, again, "it's the economy, stupid" if economy is in its current or even worse shape--and blaming Clinton will be falling on deaf ears then.
