Looks like a lot of people are having some kneejerk reactions about this.

Yeah, those boards are full of wackjobs.
I'm pretty sure the DNC pays people to post on the Yahoo boards.

The Yahoo boards aren't the most intellectual in the world.

Bush is getting blamed for the Worldcom mess on Yahoo's financial board. Thought Freepers might like to know.
OMG! (gosh)
Hey, Breaking News.. The fat kid playing outfield says he thinks Dubya isn't the ideal President.
Let's go kick his @ss! Little jerk, who does he think he is anyway? Having an opinion? It's outragous!

Bush didn't make this economy!
Eight years of Slick and his "gonna get mine at any cost" attitude had it's effect on American culture in general.
I guess the CEO's figured if the President of the United States didn't have to answer to the people he served; then they didn't have to answer to the stock holders.
I fear we have only seen the tip od the iceberg thus far!

What is so great about Bush? Farm subsidies? Steel Tarriffs? Airline bailouts? And yet another war. This time against an unseen agressor. Wheee.
To: itgirl
Consider the source. Anyone posting as "Happy Hummer" and bitching about "War! Mass layoffs! Blahblah!" is probably not very credible.

Oh,.....and Gore would have been SOOOOOOOO much better!

Bush didn't make this economy! Not all of it, but he does deserve blame for having a significant negative effect, and for hampering a recovery. However, I don't see how he has anything to do directly with the Worldcom mess.
To: itgirl
Voted for Bush. But what has he done for the economy. Not saying it is his fault, but it is pretty bad. Worse than it was while his father was pres if that can be believed.
Clinton's Labor secretary Reich at least always appeared to sincerely care about the economy on the news. When is Lindsey on the news?
Bush should at least try to look like his administration is at least trying to do something here.
Not sure what, but I don't remember the economy being worse. Not Bush's fault, but he is at the helm and it may be too much to expect people to absolve him.
People are getting crushed by the economy.
This is really serious.
To: goodnesswins
Gore would be just as bad I am sure. maybe worse. who knows. But at least we'd all know whre he was coming from when he supported farm subsidies and the like

What is so great about Bush? Farm subsidies? Steel Tarriffs? Airline bailouts? And yet another war. This time against an unseen agressor. Wheee. The farm bill was a mistake, steel tariffs were a bad idea but airline bailouts were necessary.
'Yet another war'?
Perhaps you missed the sight of the twin towers of the World Trade Center crashing to earth with over 2,500 innocent people in them on September 11, 2001, victims of an attack from Arab Muslims using U.S. passenger airliners as weapons to murder Americans as they sat at their desks.
President Bush didn't seek the war on terrorism, it was imposed on us and to make statements that assume the President casually started a war is absurd and insulting to people's intelligence. Bush's speech on the Mid-East was a landmark policy statement regarding palestinian-Israeli relations.
Either you're woefully uninformed, ignorant about political issues or a DU troll. Try actually thinking before you post and then, get a clue.
To: Orblivion
And yet another war. This time against an unseen agressor. Wheee. We have seen the agressor and 3,000 Americans are dead.
Are you Lew Rockwell?

The Yahoo financial boards are for the most part laid-off disgruntled ex-employees posting anti-company spam about their old bosses, and who knows how many disruptors are paid to be on there.
