I am having enough problems dealing with this and don't need your smart ass comments.
I'll tell you what next time a family member or friend of yours dies I hope someone says something like this to you.

Card -- my sympathies to you. This has to have been a rough week...

Don't pay attention to the moron. They are the yardstick you measure good people against.

Hey--as a National League/Mets fan for a long time please accept my sincere condolences for this horrible tragedy. Stan the Man has always been one of my favorite ballplayers, and I always had a spot in my baseball heart for the Cards.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mr. Kile, and also with all of the Cardinal fans.

Amen....if somebody in his family dies and he posts on FR, let's make fun of him and call his family member names. I wonder how he would like it.......

The Cards were my favorite team when I was a kid. The first words I could read in a newspaper were "Stan Musial." I never learned to spell "Red" Schendiencks. On my ninth birthday my parents took me to see the Cardinals and "The Man" play in Beaumont. That was decades ago. During Spring training the teams traveled around and played their minor league teams.
My dad went to the World Series in St. Louis in the late 40's when they played the Red Sox.
Am I correct recalling that Kile pitched for the Astros?
