President Bush headed to Florida today to attend a fundraiser for his brother, Gov. Jeb Bush. While in Florida, Bush visited Marks Street Senior Center in Orlando, and spoke once again about physical fitness and addressed the homicide bombings in Israel. The President also attended a senior fitness class while at the Marks Street Center. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I must admit that I do prefer the prior signature - where he is in a sitting pose. But this one will do as I do understand the outrage, at times.

Hey, you're looking for the same job as I am! However, my location of choice is Hawaii versus the Carribbean so perhaps we aren't crowding the market too much. LOL!
Bad news on the caffeine business...I think this Fat Flush plan calls for the elimination of caffeine. I hoping it's only a temporary call in order to detoxify the body.

Actually, the only significance to the changing of the graphic is that the link to the old one busted.
I've got others.

I don't know. I haven't read it yet. Just browsing through the shopping list, there is a call for caffeine-free herbal coffee. Hmmmm...sounds gross to me. I'll let you know what the skinny is about decaf once I read the diet.

Yeah you're likely right that it wasn't all sweet talk.

Yeah - Rush was sure wrong about Hillary running. Though I doubt it would have made a difference. She's got her eye on the White House, and ain't no mortal going to get in the way. Fortunately for the next 6 years, Bush ain't no mere mortal.
Too bad Rush isn't much help.
Let's get Bush the Senate back.

I came very close to leaving FR this week.
That's scary.

the stock market so...is it ever going to turn?
Yes, but not like the last five years. The next couple of weeks might be better - the last week of June, first week of July is usually up. And there will be bear market rallies in the general down (big caps and tech) or sideways (small caps) market. Dollar continuing to weaken, gold doing very well, thank-you.
But we are busting one big mama bubble, and we aren't done yet. Real Estate, and the dollar, are next to get hit.

I still do not listen to Rush.
I was going back to review the Clinton scandals and crimes (it's taking a while -- there's alot of them -- the Bush Bashers should direct their outrage to where it is really deserved;) and stumbled on an excerpt from Sam Smith's 1994 book
Shadows of Hope: A Freethinker's Guide to Politics in the Time of Clinton. Smith is editor of
Progressive Review.
The excerpt is: How We Got Into This Mess. In it he has a good description of the tendencies, biases and weaknesses of the main stream media's political reporting, and how it contributed to Clinton's rise.
I'm struck by how much Rush is simply a part of that main stream media culture. And I am more angry at his lack of sufficient outrage to many of Clinton's crimes than I am his current bad mouthing of Bush.
... just another broken glass Republican here ...

Good point. For people who are constantly carping on President Bush for not going after Clinton's crimes with all guns blazing, they forget the Rush poo-poo'd many of those very same crimes....(the worst ones)....as kooksville.
Yes, Rush achieved material success and perhaps that took a lot of his fire away. I don't know.
I will check out the links you gave.
Every day I think about who the real enemy is. And it is not President Bush.
For the things his critics don't like about him - there is prayer and writing.
And I only have to think of Algore being in power right now - remembering the nausea wave that sweeps over me at that thought - to know how wrong the Bush critics are - the ones saying there is no difference between a Republican and a Democrat, between President Bush and Algore!
Dear God - what a nightmare we would be in. People would already be in their escape "pods"........or moved to Australia or Central America.......
It comes down to being informed...and then being dedicated to getting the Senate back.
