President Bush headed to Florida today to attend a fundraiser for his brother, Gov. Jeb Bush. While in Florida, Bush visited Marks Street Senior Center in Orlando, and spoke once again about physical fitness and addressed the homicide bombings in Israel. The President also attended a senior fitness class while at the Marks Street Center. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I agree MJ. I had just freepmailed someone yesterday asking what can we do? Who would have thought a thank you thread would at least calm it down a bit. For now anyways.
Thank you annie.

I'm pretty good tonight; just in from visiting with friends in Burlington. It was a good night. I notice you all didn't let any news happen while I was gone.......LOL.

It makes since, (or at least I think I understand) and I guess to put it in lay terms: you're saying that those who have felt oppressed in some form is joining in, so to speak to have their voice heard. Striking while the iron is hot so to speak.

Why? Where sin abounds, much more does the grace of God.
Despite the bad press, there really is good and decent folk who live here within the city.

I sent Sean Hannity an email tonight, I asked him why he was bashing Dubya over a proposal that has not been presented, I can not for the life of me see how someone as bright as Sean can allow himself to be spoon fed by the leftist who don't have a clue what the President is gonna say about the ME.
I can understand being disappointed over an actual policy proposal, but to sit there with Benj Netyn&^%# (NoIdea) and trash George W. Bush over a phantom proposal is playing right into the hands of the Liberals. The liberals can not survive without playing on emotions.

You will always have a special place in my heart. You and many others on this Dose are the main reason I drop back in. These are great people, aren't they?

I woke up this morning and decided we needed a thread that would remind us all of the friendships we've built here - even with those we don't necessarily agree. Some of the more quarrelsome can't even bring themselves to think of the good in someone. (But then, come to think of it, there are a handful in which there is no good!)
Seriously, there are many folks around here I strongly disagree with, but they are bright and reasoned. I can still respect that in them, and not agree with their positions. Besides, we're a family, eh? Albeit....one with lots of sibling rivalry.....

I meant KoolAid as in the Jonestown formula for KoolAid. Or are you too young to remember that?
To: anniegetyourgun
Well, I noticed that the constant gripers are complimenting the other constant gripers. LOL!

I want to know if it works. But I always start out skeptical of all such things. Everything keeps coming back to the ol' diet and exercise thing.....blech....

Yes I did, but you know I had to have my tinfoil on. But I'm not worried. Well maybe he intended to fail it by giving false information so that we won't be prepaired. There are so many things that need to be settled So many Islamic business people from Vegas supported McKinney, Atta lived here quite some time and there were several clandestined meetings all over this city. But I'm not worried.

Annie, Your thread today was spot on, Sometimes when things get out of hand, it takes something like your thread idea to get people to break ranks and focus on the real problems we face.
Hats off to ya,
Mike

Congratulations. I need more assistance over here in Oregon. My dad always had a beautiful garden, but he never taught me the basics of soil, fertilization, pest control, etc. So I am learning...................... .......slowly. Gardening just makes me feel so close to God.
