So Im wondering is hell then neccasarily eternal?

As much as I wish it would not be, from my reading of the Bible, it is eternal. The Bible does say that hell was created for the devil and his angels, so it was not intended for man, but many will go there, sadly. So as much as I wish it were not eternal, from my understanding, it is.
