"This is simply the dumbing of America!"...And the 'Dumbing Down of America' is simply the name we give to the larger plot to remove all vestiges of individuality and indoctrinate all of us into the Third Way, EU-style, collective conciousness.
"Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated"
If the left gets it's way, the earth will be taken over by so-called 'lower' life forms, which will become the intellectually 'higher' life forms on the planet, after the left takes us back to the pre-stone age era.

They ought to play cowboys and moose-limbs instead.

Self esteem from tag? Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,ha,oh my God...I can't stop laughing.

Geeez! What's next? No football, baseball, basketball, etc., etc? This is getting real weird. What's it going to be like in another 5 to 10 years as to what our children "can" or "cannot" do. It doesn't look very good. It's bad enough, that they're dumbing down our kids in the classroom. Now the playground? Good Post spetznaz. Thanks!

With the girls you describe, that is more than just public schooling, for you see, most homeschoolers (not all of course)also teach morality and values in the home. Not to say that no public school children are taught values in the home, but that is countered with all the socialist smut they learn at public school. And of course there are decades of feminist propaganda which tells females to "acknowlege and celebrate their sexuality" from an early age.

The state of California has had disasterious effects on my self-esteem. Can we please
BAN CALIFORNIA???

Not dumbing down; retarding the physical, social and emotioanl growth of the child. One can't be successfull
unless one has felt the sting (s) of defeat. All this crap is sold on a momentary or immediate basis. There is no concept of patience. Remember, when God speaks to us, He wispers; if we don't listen, He will start throwing bricks.

They're black belts in karate, and they belong to Boy Scouts, which is one of the last non-wimp kids' organizations around. In scouts, my sons have spent hours paddling canoes in cold pouring rain, they've climbed mountains and rappelled back down, they've camped in below zero weather, and they've dealt with several emergency situations that required quick thinking and toughness. And they're turning into young menAnd they're a thousand times happier than the kids who have been spoon-fed "self-esteem". I know this even though I've never met them; I was in the Scouts myself and have practiced the martial arts for 15 years. There's nothing like the joy of conquering adversity. Incredible, isn't it, that these people who talk so much about feelings, know so little about them.

accents as the only lacking factor in foreign education systems
Maybe in the education system, but Amazon's outsourced customer service group, a component of which is based near Mumbai/Poona, coaches their employees in imitating American accents, keeping up with US news etc, so that someone calling has no idea that the Harry he's talking to is really Hari.

..."Little kids were coming in and saying 'I don't like it.' "... I said that about homework once - and got whacked with a ruler.
And today in other news: A recent FDA sponsored cancer study confirmed the link between oxidative free-radicals and cancer. Lead researcher Iggy Dimwiddle was quoted as saying "This major study has proven conclusively that oxygen is Bad, Bad, Bad."
Taking his cue from Dimwiddle, FDA Chief Mengele moved to issue a directive reclassifying oxygen as a toxic carcinogen and a controlled substance. He also added that "We are also working with Congress to draft legislation that would impose a 20 year sentance on anyone convicted of the use or distribution of oxygen."

What about "capture the flag"? I remember playing it for hours as a Boy Scout. I wonder what this principal would say about it?

I have horrible memories to this day of playing tag as a child. Oh, the torture! I still have nightmares from it. My self-esteem has been so damaged that I deserve reparations. Perhaps the reparations will pay for the years of therapy I need from losing that game of tag back in 2nd grade. I can only hope. </sarcasm off>

Should be an easy win since the school district has already admitted guilt!!!!!

Seems to me that it high time to
"EXPELL THE N.E.A."
and Hope it is not too late........seems to me.
To: spetznaz
My opinion matches yours. Thanks for articulating it.
" The principal said children playing tag suffered both physical and emotional injuries. "
It's also about the touchy feely.

I retire from the Army in two months. I'm considering going into teaching, and articles like this only reinforce that leaning. We need more male teachers who won't put up with B.S. such as this.
