Prakash Patel is probably Hindu or the name would be different. LOL. Wonder who's worse, Bin Laden or rednecks?

Judging from some of the comments by a few posters on this site - we need a redneck education program here online as well. On the order of: "Remember Pearl Harbor?? 'Member all'em lil' japs y'all hated? Wull, y'know mosta themthar other asians hated'em too. 'cluding the chawnese. They was our allies. Even tho' they all look the frikkin' same."
"Well, same damn thing with the Injuns! No! Not the goddern Cherokee, ya moron! The Injuns from Inja! They hate allah'em Pakis more'n you do. They's about to nuke Pakistan. You gotta nuke? Well, git yer stupid ass outta de way, n'let'em do it up right! Klan rally..dismissed!!"

I love the perp's excuse: he didn't have a television. Heck, all he had to do was rummage for parts under the house trailer & fix the one he had.

The rednecks down south remind me of the weather there. It's not so much the hate, it's the stupidity.

Kenneth Earl Newell, 41, said he put up the sign because of a report that the business' owners had cheered while watching television coverage of the attacks..."Heh, heh, here, hold muh beer, and watch this!"
What an idjit!

Wonder where or whom the report that the storeowner had cheered would have come from? Patel is a hindu gujarati name. I stopped at a motel in Jackson once and was amused to see a young indian man who worked there or was the son of the owner speak with a tennessee drawl. Obviously one of those curry cowboys.

"The rednecks down south remind me of the weather there. It's not so much the hate, it's the stupidity."The humor in that statement is about as detectable as Brownian Movement to the naked eye. I'm sure Margaret Cho would be flattered that you chose to plagiarized parts of her stand-up routine...

Dude, they're HINDU'S! They're on OUR SIDE!....They HATE MUSLIMS!!! Hehe...what a doooofus!

There were reports of people dancing and cheering in Brooklyn and Queens where in the interests of domestic stability, the pictures were never shown on TV.
And i have a verifiable one told to me by a nurse at a major hospital here that was working in a ward catering to rich Arabs. When the news came on 9/11 there were huzzahs and cheering and demonstrations of sympathy and support for the hijackers and the murders they had caused in NYC and DC. She was flabbergasted that they would be so explicit and open in their hatred of America while undergoing medical treatment here. She found it very hard to keep working and tending to the people who were cheering the mayhem of 9/11.

I'm sure Margaret Cho would be flattered that you chose to plagiarized parts of her stand-up routine... Was she the one who said it first? I give her full credit. I've heard it a number of places. It's common enough that I didn't think anyone would take it for original, but someone had to say it.

Now, Islam is a TRULY dangerous religion. Guess we have to learn the hard way.

The rednecks down south remind me of the weather there. It's not so much the hate, it's the stupidity. My, my, your intelligence is certainly showing. The weather down here is quite fine most of the year, Southern hospitality is well known, and we at the very least have the intelligence to BE hospitable. You're a fine example of none of those features.

Unless you're a redneck, I'm not sure why you'd take offense at that. As for Louisiana, it's a fun and beautiful place, but you must admit that the weather is awfully sticky.
To: Physicist
I've been called redneck, certainly. And a lot of my friends and co-workers definitely without doubt qualify as rednecks. But the thing is, a lot of "rednecks" are not stupid. Far from it. And most "rednecks" don't have an ounce of hate in their bodies. They'd give you the shirt off their back. And the weather here is really "sticky" only about 4 months out of the year.
Crawl back under your rock.

At least he didn't start shooting, like our local AZ dumbass did. He killed a Sikh store owner because he looked middle eastern.

If you want to call yourself a redneck, that's fine with me, but you should realize that the rest of the country takes it to mean "southern racist democrat". That's how MeneMeneTekelUpharsin used it in the post I responded to, but I didn't see you jump down his throat.

Ya'll are both sadly mistaken. And MeneMeneTekelUpharsin mentioned Bin Laden and Rednecks, nothing there about Southern, rascist, or democrat that I can see....????
And realistically the majority of "rednecks" are hard working Christian, family oriented, and very Conservative... So, Have A Great Day, OK?
Go speak for the "rest of the country" on some other subject.
