What Bush Should Say On Mid-East Process

Posted on 06/19/2002 3:56:23 PM PDT by B.R. Burton

I was sitting here, modelling a 3d fantasy creature in Lightwave, and thought of the PERFECT thing that Bush should say regarding the crisis in the Middle East.

As you know, Bush is supposed to give a speech soon, endorsing a Palestinian State, and his plan on the mid-east. This cannot be done without significant punishment for the PA and terror groups, since anything else would be capitulating to terrorism, and legitimizing its tactics. However, there is a solution:

Bush should indeed come out, and endorse a Palestinian State, one that Sharon would be happy with, as even Sharon has expressed approval for the idea. But Bush should say that Arafat must be completely deposed, and completely uninvolved in the process. He must call for new leadership, and the new leader must agree to an all out assault on the Al Aqsa Martyr's Brigade, Hamas, Hizbollah, and their destruction. The interim Palestinian state would commence, with an agreeable leader, and completely new DEMOCRATIC government, FREE MEDIA (NO GOV't CONTROLLED MEDIA), de-militarized. When the terrorist groups are destroyed, by Israel, with US help and Palestinian co-operation, the official "Palestine" could exist, de-militarized, de-media'd, and democratic - with NO ARAFAT.

Looks familiar.

>>>Upon the death of King Hussein on 7 February 1999 the United States and the Gulf countries, which had suspended all financial aid to Jordan in 1991, promptly gave support to the new king, Abdallah II. Abdallah has proved to be in favour of peace with Israel. He sponsored the Israeli-Palestinian memorandum signed at Sharm el-Sheikh on 4 September 1999 and, after accusing the Islamist movement Hamas of trying to torpedo the peace process and take over the Muslim Brotherhood (an Islamic organisation that is very influential in Jordan and has traditionally been allied with the monarchy), he closed Hamas offices in Jordan and expelled its leaders.<<<

You don't want a Democratic government. Democracy is mob rule and Im still opposed to any Palestinian state. But if it has one it needs a leader like Ataturk.
