Pray for Bush Day 642- and the Children of America

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for this day and for the blessings You have given us. I thank You for listening to us in times of fear and anguish for we know when the world forsakes us You are there. Please hear our prayers this day.

I thank You Lord that the lawsuit between the WP/LA Times and Free Republic has been settled. Continue to bless Jim Rob and those at F.R. for the work they do and for the blessing they give in providing this forum for such a time as this.

I pray for President Bush and ask that You grant him wisdom and strength to persevere. Give him discernment in all things and a fortitude to do what is right even if his advisors are telling him different. Protect him and keep him by Your Power, and use him to effect great change in this nation.

I lift up Israel which is under attack again. Be a help to her and use these tumultuous times to draw her to You.

And, I pray for the children of America, particularly those in our educational system. Lord, many know that getting children at this age is essential for the propagation of their ideas. As a result, many students are being force fed lies which are merely people's agendas. Help them to know the difference and to cling to the truth. Rid our schools of that which would harm children and replace it with Your standards for justice, truth, beauty, and goodness.

Go with us the rest of this day I pray, Lord and until we meet again and bless us with answered prayer. For it is in the precious and holy name of Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior that I pray these things, Amen.

Mighty God, Everlasting Father,

Blessed are You, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. You are our God of hope. We ask this day that You would fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in You, so that we may overflow with hope by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Father, we know that our citizenship is in heaven and we also eagerly await our Savior, Jesus Christ. But we pray for Your Holy Spirit to descend upon us on this earth, Lord, that Your highest blessings may be placed upon our country and that Your power would work in Your people here. We love You, Father, and ask that Your will would be done in America. Please place in each heart the desire to serve You, that we may end every practice, every law that is not in line with Your will.

Gracious Lord, surround our President with Your mighty angels as he ponders the policy statement he will make regarding the Israeli and Palestinian conflicts. We ask that he would not promote the formation of a separate Palestinian state unless that is what You are directing him to do. We pray for the times when he comes to You in prayer regarding this conflict, Father, and we humbly ask that Your Spirit of truth would rest upon him. Let his mind, his heart, and his spirit be open and attentive to Your voice. Help him to always be sensitive to the power of the Holy Spirit and to seek Your will in every area of his life. Let the decisions he makes for America and on behalf of Israel be Spirit-inspired and let him never escape from the shadow of Your protection.

Father, we lift up the children of this nation to You, and we pray that they would be taught about Your love. Your Word tells us to, "Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord, and lift your hands toward Him for the life of your young children." Help us to lift up our own children to You in prayer each day and to remember those children who have no one to pray for them. Help us to teach our children to pray, Father, for of all the life skills we could share with them, praying and reading the Word are of utmost importance.

Our God, You are the One who commanded light to shine out of the darkness. Thank You for making Your light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of Your glory in the face of Jesus Christ. Send forth Your blessings upon all who pray here, Lord, and perfect our prayers so that they may bring about Your desires for our nation. We pray with thanksgiving in the name of Jesus Christ, who is our Savior, and whom we proclaim King in our hearts and in our nation. Amen.

Heavenly Father, You are so awsome in all Your ways. You are above all and Your ways are not our ways. You are holy and all power,glory and dominion belong to You alone.

I pray for the President tonite that You will fill him with Your Spirit that he will have the mind of Christ in all his decisions. Give him the strength or moral character for Your glory.

I pray for Christians in America that YOu will give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation that they may understand the times in which they live and live according to Your will that they not become foolish but wise. Please send Your Holy Spirit to renew a right spirit in Christians to return to their first love.One day in eternity we will realize that nothing here is remembered but what we did for Christ.

Please watch over our country tonite and military and Israel. Bind Satan from touching any of us our military or Israel. Surround us with Your protection and angels, in Jesus name, amen.I agree with all prayer for our ....no Your.... children too.
