Israeli helicopters fire missiles in Gaza - witnesses

    GAZA, June 19 (Reuters) - Israeli helicopters fired at least 
five missiles at targets in Gaza City and the southern Gaza town 
of Khan Younis on Wednesday after seven people were killed in a 
Palestinian suicide bombing in Jerusalem, witnesses said. 
    The helicopters hit a metal works foundry in Khan Younis, 
witnesses said. The targets in Gaza City were not immediately 
clear. There were no immediate reports of casualties. 
    The Israeli army declined immediate comment. 
    The attack in Jerusalem was the second suicide bombing in 
the city in two days and raised the prospect of the Israeli army 
reoccupying Palestinian-ruled territory in line with a new 
policy of retaking West Bank areas until "terrorism" stops. 
    The government announced the policy after a Hamas militant 
blew himself up on a Jerusalem bus on Tuesday and killed 19 
people, the highest death toll in a Palestinian attack in the 
city in six years.

There are certain lines you don't cross. A lot of people will support Israel if they use force, even if that force becomes excessive. But if you cross that line, the nerve gas line, Isael would be universally condemned. Israel has people on it's side. Keep them there. Kick ass. Just don't make one out of yourself.

Palestinian security officials in the Gaza Strip said helicopters struck a steel factory in Khan Yunis and possibly Jebalya refugee camp just north of Gaza City as well as the Gaza City neighborhood of Zeitun. They had no further information.

The strikes began about three hours after a Palestinian suicide bomber detonated himself at a bus stop in Jerusalem, killing seven other people in the second attack in the city in two days.

Early Wednesday, Israel announced a major policy shift in response to a suicide bombing Tuesday on a Jerusalem bus that killed 19 Israelis. The new approach was to gradually reoccupy Palestinian areas and stay put until terrorism stops.
