FBI papers prompt new search for John Doe No. 2 (ORIGINAL Sketch Shows "Scar")

A number of witnesses told authorities they had seen a man with convicted bomber Timothy McVeigh a few days before the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building that killed 168 people and wounded hundreds more. They said the man was not McVeigh's convicted co-conspirator Terry Nichols.

Another piece of the puzzle falls into place. As you might remember, yesterday I was speculating whether the sketch of John Doe #2 had been retouched with the scar in order to prove a false link between him and Jose Padilla (who appears to have the same scar on his low quality photo). I have now found the sketch seen here which was placed on the CNN website over a year ago so this sketch has definitely NOT been retouched. The one question I do have is whether that line on the face represents a scar or an attempt by the artist to highlight the cheek (although there is no such line on the other cheek). Is there some way to contact the sketch artist to find out the truth about this?

Nichols has argued unsuccessfully that it was John Doe No. 2, not him, who conspired with McVeigh.

Isn't it about time to interview Nichols in detail about John Doe #2? And while we are at it, how about RELEASING the various John Doe video tapes known to exist but confiscated by the Feds?

How about interviewing the original eye witnesses who described John Doe and ask them if it's Padilla?

Good point. There are a number of such witnesses. BTW, there are many pages of documents about John Doe No. 2 among the 4100 pages of documents that were "discovered" (but not released) by the Feds shortly before the McVeigh execution. You can read about it HERE on the CNN website.

I agree. I think that Mr. Padilla is looking more and more like a possible match. If so, then we might still have enough of the pieces together to start making a case against Iraq or some others. We may also want to talk with the folks at Mossad.

I would like to see what documents in those thousands pages of suppressed documents relate to John Doe No. 2. Oh, and how about the release of the John Doe #2 videotapes? There are several John Doe #2 witnesses floating around. Can't any of them be found to give an ID on whether Padilla is indeed John Doe #2?

A waitress at a Denny's restaurant who testified that she waited on McVeigh and two other men. She said one of those men definitely was not Nichols.

So, was the gubmint theory up until now that the two other men were both Nichols?

Strange. Nichols said that he worked with a John Doe #2 and the government just doesn't want to hear about it. Plus there are all those witnesses and surveillance videotapes of John Doe #2 that have been confiscated by the Feds and never saw the light of day again. BTW, I would like to know what name Nichols called John Doe #2 by? He certainly didn't call him John Doe. Could he have called him "Jose?"

The key to this is that the FBI had an agent(s?) in McVeigh's militia unit early on. They knew who was doing what and when. The FBI knew about OKC. After the murdres at Waco, they needed a victory and were going to have a PR op in stopping the bombing. An FBI big shot from Dallas or Washington got off scheduled and the locals dithered. The material in the truck (very well known quantities) didn't represent too much damage, but no one factored in the massive explosives stored in the building by other federal agencies (which ones?). The FBI could have stopped and didn't and then covered up. McVeigh was quickly executed after the diversion of releasing 3,000 last minute documents (while continuing to conceal another x thousand, all of which demonstrate the FBI's preknowledge). Both McVeigh and Nichols are protecting the identity of the others in their group. They foolishly believe that the others weren't agents.

We must keep digging to uncover the truth. Padilla won't talk because of loyalty to his group and for fear of self-incrimination. But, it was the FBI, using information from the still hidden files and its agent in the McVeigh cell, who blew the whistle on Padilla. The FBI needed a victory. They had this old lead and he was coming back to the US. It would work because no one would put the pictures side by side and the existance of John Doe #2 had been well refuted.

There is much, much more to this story. I sure would like to see the files and records the recently retired Dallas FBI head has stored in his garage.

Does anyone doubt for a minute there was a Gubbimint FBI (Clintoonia and Bush Admin) coverup of the OKC bombing? Have you ever seen anyone snuffed as quickly as T McVeigh in your whole life ? They were in all kinds of a hurry. Look at the different treatment and kid gloves Al Quaeda is receiving now. Why are we so naive? Flt 800 , Waco, Kosovo, OKC and now WTC and the Pentagon should always be in our minds and we must assume until they prove otherwise that our gubbimint continues to lie and cover up anything that is inconvenient for them and theirs. Wake up ! What civilized genuine democracy would tolerate scum like Condit, both Clintons, Reno, Freeh , Albright in their government? We aggrandize them all and make them millionaires many times over . Oh Condit isn't ? Excuse me, look at his retirement and take a second look at the Campaign Funds and bank accounts and watch what happens when he " retires".

It does resemble one of the highjackers... Atta? Didn't they go on the trail of an Arab who left Oklohoma by plane right after the bombing and they cought up with him in New York just as he was leaving the country? They cleared him an humbly apologized. And I do mean humbly, over and over. There was all that screaming about racial profiling and how we automatically thought it had to be an Arab?

Also wasn't there a report of a leg found that didn't match up with any of the victims? You know these Islamic terrorists have a thing about blowing themselves up in an attack.

There are too many unanswered questions and then people like me who only remember bits and pieces because we are told it wasn't important.

Now if only the Feds will allow Terry Nichols to testify about John Doe #2. He claims such a person DEFINITELY exist but the Feds haven't allowed him to testify about this.

As of now, I'm in a neutral position on this re is he or isn't he John Doe #2. I want this dragged out into the sunlight and exposed to truth and reality. That is being done on Free Republic 24/7 with this issue.

The great thing about Free Republic is that we can hear from others, see these pictures and ask questions that we couldn't ask the left wing press about years ago. Nor can the left wing mediots bury this like they did years ago.
