The Clintons' millions

Our position: There are plenty of ways for the Clintons to help others with their new wealth.
Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, are cashing in big-time, earning more than $12 million this past year for speeches and memoirs related to their checkered tenure in the White House.
With all that dough, why do they -- or for that matter, any other surviving former head of state, all of whom are multi-millionaires -- need free health care, a $166,700 annual pension, plus more than $500,000 for office and staff expenses each year?
With all that cash, why aren't the Clintons helping out all of their less well-to-do friends and acquaintances who were legally ensnared in their scandalous escapades? Why, too, do they continue to spend the hard-earned cash of political sympathizers to pay their legal fees?
With all that money, taxpayers should wonder: Why indeed?

Do you recall what a big deal all the clinton's pals in the media made about him being "the lowest-paid Governor" in the country- like it was some standard of high moral purity?
Guess that was a "nineties thing" that no longer applies...

Clinton's morals: lower than the organizms that feed on pond scum.

They could start by paying their attorneys.

And how much are they giving over to the taxman one wonders.
I'd really like to see their tax returns...

And i'd really like to know if they're taking the mortgage deduction, which would mean that the taxpayers really are subsidising their Let Them Eat Cake lifestyle.

Mike Tyson: $17 million for his latest fight with Lenox Lewis.
Bill Clinton: $9 million in speaking fees last year.
Lesson: It pays to be a rapist after all.......

And then there's the cash flow from the weekend garage sales where the klintoons sell the stuff they stole from the White House -- Low life pukes need to be in JAIL!

Published reports were that as governor, Bill consummed between $250,000 and $2,000,000 per year in State slush funds, aka misappropriated funds, for his pleasures.
Islamists have it right that America is a corrupt society. The dead innocents of Mt. Carmel at Waco are proof that the Clintons will kill those who challenge their power. Neither Bill or Hillary should have escaped prosecutions for their serial felonies. They will not escape Judgement. Will we?

Being the Governor of one of the poorest, or the poorest state in the Union might have had something to do with his low copensation. Salary not being paid commensurate with performance it must be the size of the State's purse.

Neither Bill or Hillary should have escaped prosecutions for their serial felonies. They will not escape Judgement. Will we? You raise a good point for which I have no definitive answer. Most people I know are pretty decent souls- and yet! I see so much depravity, crudeness, rudeness, and downright meanness... I used to say that the clintons were like a fever- a symptom of an underlying illness in the American soul. Whether or not we have thrown off the disease remains to be seen...

Remember, that the Secret Service is paying a rental on their living quarters on the Chappaqua property equal to the Klintoons mortgage payment. How would your tax man handle that?

"Islamists have it right that America is a corrupt society." Just as is THEIRS. However, their repressive regimes aim to shield their flocks from the truth by rigid control of the flow of information. The only difference is that the world can SEE our corruption. The Islamists are better at keeping theirs hidden.

Low paid elected offices guarantee that only the independently wealthy/moonlighting candidate will seek office (who else would campaign for a job that pays $15-20,000 a year?).

Bill Clinton's wife made $8million for a book that still hasn't been written (a year and a half later) and she was only married to a rapist...
