JUSTICE HELD HOSTAGE: DAY 406
For 406 days, Senator Do-Nothing Daschle and Senator De-Leahy have held President Bushs imminently qualified judicial nominees hostage. The Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee have been spoon-fed misinformation from extreme left-wing organizations like the so-called People for the American Way, the NAACP and the National Organization for Women. Senate Democrats have also clearly decided that payback is a strategy worthy of the United States Senate. Most Americans do not agree. If you believe that the Senates role is to advise and consent, not delay and obstruct, then please join us:
Time: 12:00pm to 12:45pm, Thursday, June 20.
Location: Upper Senate Park: on the lawn on the Senate side between Russell and the Capitol.
What: Rally, sign waving, some chants and a speech or two in support of President Bushs judicial nominees.
Help us tell Senators Daschle and Leahy: Justice Delayed = Justice Denied.
TOPICS: Activism/Chapters; Announcements; Breaking News; Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections; US: Maryland; US: Virginia
KEYWORDS: judiciary; presidentbush; rally; senate
FRN invites all DC Area Freepers and lurkers to come to this Noon rally on Thursday (20 June). We hope to see you there.

This sounds like a Freep for a worthy cause. Put out some press releases, call the local radio talk shows, invite local conservative groups and even some Pubbie groups to join you.
Best of luck and keep those of us out here in flyover country posted.

Will do, Mr. M. Be on the lookout for 4 (slightly late) threads from this past week's activities. My kingdom for a good assistant!
