Good article - some hard truths. IMHO, the entire Arab world is in secret or not-so-secret communication and are working together to bring down Israel AND America. I don't think it's any accident that there are constant "flare-ups" all over the Arab world.

I refuse to see Sum of All Fears. I realize that the loss of my $7.50 is not going to bring Hollywood to its knees, unfortunately, but it makes me feel better.

Hollywood typically tailors its stories to fit whatever the mainstream news media is trying to pass off as gospel. The film "Behind Enemy Lines" was based on the premise that Serbs had massacred thousands of peaceful jihadis at a time and buried them in camoflaged mass graves.

They had some dimwitted non-actor or other playing the part of a "maverick fighter pilot" (sound familiar?) who strays off course of his assigned recon flight and gets photos of the Serbs doing their famous mass burial routine, after which they shoot him down and chase him trying to kill him.

They even had the escaping pilot befriended by Kosovar jihadis who try to help him escape but are massacred by the evil Serbs themselves. Hollywood is full of lying traitors. Boycott'em all and let the market sort'em out.

Boycotts always should be an individual choice.
I also refuse to pay good money to be indoctrinated.

After seeing "Siege" one more time, I realize there is another movie attempting to generate sympathy for the death-cult religion.
Not likely to see that one again either, even if it's free.

As an avid moviegoer, I love nothing better than a good political thriller. Still, I am boycotting the newest Tom Clancy movie "The Sum of All Fears." While the Ben Affleck-Morgan Freeman vehicle might be a great summertime blockbuster, I refuse to see it because of a large, ugly plot change: The book's villains were Palestinian terrorists who gain access to a nuclear device, and the movie moguls magically transformed the villains into "neo-Fascists."

Late last year--and AFTER Sept.11th--Hollywood came out with the shoot-'em-up war movie, "Behind Ememy Lines". Just what we needed after Sept. 11th--except that the bad guys were Serbs!!!!

The this year, there was the Fox TV thriller "24". A great show--a spy thriller in real time, with a complex, unravelling plot. Except that, once again, the bad guys were Serbs!!!!

We Americans, just like Americans after Pearl Harbor--need shoot-'em-up war and spy movies in which--as in real life--the bad guys are muslims. We need video games in which we ourselves can shoot hordes of muslim terrorists, including Al Qaeda, KLA, Chechens, "Palestinians", and all the rest. And, above all, we need to STOP demonizing the Serbs!!!!

But what does "the industry" in Hollywood and New York give us? War movies and spy thrillers that go out of their way to whitewash the international islamic jihad, and to avoid "offending" or "commiting 'hate crimes' against muslims. Instead, they just keep picking on the "villains" that it is OK for the "politically correct" crowd to hate---the Serbs.

The whole thing is weakening our war effort against the islamic terrorists, and has GOT TO STOP!!!!

I saw it and was extremely disappointed. In the movie:
1) A much too young, unmarried Jack Ryan;
2) a married President

In the book:
1) the major plot in the book where the President and his National Security Advisor's affair affect his judgment;
2) the National Security Advisor's and the President's collusion to deny Ryan credit for the breakthrough for Middle East Peace.

These are just some of the inconsistencies. Clancy, who is credited as Executive Producer for the movie, has sold out and/or is just too tired any more.

There are lots of authors out there who used to write excellent books, but are now turning out what are in effect only "draft screenplays" and the publishers are marketing these based on the authors' names. Stuart Woods is one currently active. Past ones include Alistair McClain. Now I fear Clancy is in that category as well.

I love how they turned it into a politically correct enemy, like neo-fascists. Don't get me wrong, I spit on fascism, and nazism. But that's something everyone can agree on. This is the second PC movie Ben Affleck has made, along with Pearl Harbor

The problem isn't just Arafat. His constituency is part of the broader group of Islamists who wish to see a world dominated by fundamentalist Islam. The first step toward that domination is the destruction of Israel.

I can think of other types who are part of the problem also.

Seems to be a constant thing with Hollywierd. Another recent fact change on a movie was (I forgot the movie title) the one where Keanu Reeves tries to play the part of a guy that brought youth baseball to an inner city. Hollywierd made this guy out to be a drunken bar hopper that reluctantly took on this task. Nope. He was a drunken bar hop before giving his life to Christ. After that, he chose to teach these kids the all American pasttime of baseball.

I'd just like to point out that "Sum of All Fears" was made before 9/11. Not that that totally demolishes this article. But it does put the movie in a slightly different light.

Great post.Hollywood producers have pine nuts for balls. Every American should boycott Hollywood garbage. Don't buy it,don't rent it until they portray the true facts in their movies.
Everyone that gives money to Hollywood is only legitimizing their P.C. propaganda.
