None of the hunters who were successful, that i know go for elk any more - It's been more than 10 years since I've had any.

They've done the special hunts to thin the herds here as well - especially in the areas where they are out eating the food supply - then they head for the farms and of course the roads.

But with so many they are falling victim to disease and malnutrition - but the dang PETA people don't see that the hunts are more humane and 'kinder" to the animals.

SHEESH - i just don't understand some people !!!!!
