So why don't they let people have a choice, rather than dictating what people are allowed to have and not have? Who are they to rule others lives? It creates hate that divides.

The NAACP is oppressive. They're forcing others to accept and obey their opinions against their free will.
They're actually creating the hate they claim to be against.
This is the same method of creating hate the homos use - Create hate, cry "victim", and get special elitist status and special laws for protection.

This is odd to be happening in Crestview. The town has a population of maybe 30,000 and is located northwest of Panama City and about an hour and a half east of Pensacola. Its a real rural area - not the type of place where the NAACP usually pulls these stunts. Interesting.

Although I disagree with voting on this issue, at least the council is hearing arguments from both sides. Jeb Bush, King Roy Barnes, and Jim Hodges removed Confederate flags (not just battle flags) from displays in each of their states WITHOUT A VOTE.

In this case, I feel we should honor a fallen brother by leaving his memorial untouched - there ought not to be a vote; let Uncle Bill rest in peace.

The same thing is happening in South Carolina, where the NAACP is boycotting the entire state because of one flag at a Confederate Soldiers Monument. Never give in, or the monument will be the next target.
