I keep my vanity posts near non-existent these days, so please indulge me on this. A couple of questions posed here on FR often saves hours of research. I'm in the final rewrite/edit stages of my novel and need your help:
Does anyone remember who the major network news anchors were in 1977?
Now a tougher one: Can anyone give me information, such as call sign, popular name, etc., of a major Tel Aviv television station in 1977?
Many thanks for any help you can offer. This is the greatest research tool on the net, bar none.

Thx, Dog. That IS an interesting link, but did you notice they jump all around '77? They talk about things up until '76, then '78. LOL.

Thx, Banner. Looks like ITV's Channel One would've been the likely station to be watching. Next question, that I didn't see an answer to on that page, and what is likely a dumb one but I don't mind admitting ignorance on this topic. :-) Would the primary language on this station have been Hebrew? English? They mention a percentage of broadcasting in Arabic, but what's the primary? Happen to know? Anyone?
