No, that is a new one on me. Never read about any Nevada or desert scenarios.

I do not believe that Sanchez has a home in Forest Hills, nor near Klingle Mansion, but she certainly does know Condit very well and appears to be on the best of terms with him. May have been involved in business deals with him as well.

But I had others in mind: I think there are several, congresswomen, men, and others, whose homes in Forest Hills could have been made available to Condit...surely those must be often vacant, and many homes of that vintage have large yards and thicketty overgrown places back in back, old garages and outbuildings that held Model A Fords but wouldn't hold 1959 US cars, got abandoned, have brush growing up in them, moss on them.

I am thinking of a certain dead-end street running parallel to Brandywine, just one block north of it, that unlike it dead ends and does not come down all the way to Broad Branch. It does get quite close, though, how many yards would you say from there to Chandra's spine?

Jack and Jill ran DOWN the hill... but only Jack came back...

Can't really say. Which Congresswoman are you thnking of? I thought of Sanchez b/c besides a business deal (condo), Bob Dornan pegged them as bed-buddies. It seems there's another Cali woman Dem he's been connected to, at least politically, but I can't recall the details right now.

This is just like when poor Mrs Levy called (without knowing who she was calling) Condit on May 5, and said she had heard her daughter was seeing a Congressman, and Condit implied he was aware of that also, and supposedly had quite a game of 20 questions going Is it Strom Thurmond? Is it B, is it X, is it Y...No, but you're getting warmer!

This while she was trying to discover if her daughter was even missing at all! Then he talks of her in the past tense and offers $10M reward.

Let see, FReepers? How many Congress Women does California have? I think we can rule out Waters.

The chances of that are vanishingly small.

It really isn't abnormal for her remains to be scattered as they are. It would be abnormal if they WEREN'T. Between the exposure, the terrain (steep slope with washout into the creek), the wildlife in the area, there is nothing, absolutely nothing, abnormal about the distribution of her remains.

If you apply Occam's razor, the simplest solution is the likely solution; and that doesn't include the nefarious leg snatcher plan.

But "scattering" would scatter all bones alike. Not one even of the smallest bones, was lost from any area except the lower left extremity. That WAS lost in its entirely, with not even the largest bones surviving, and the pelvis DID require external force to cut it.

Even leaving the pelvis out, it is not statistically possible for ALL of the left leg to be unfindable, while even the tiniest bits of the rest COULD be found.

I just give up; I don't know how to draw the picture any clearer for you.

Did I understand you correctly? Her leg was "sawed off"? How & from whom did you learn that her leg was "sawed off"?

Not while she was living, of course, but they have found even the tiniest bones from the whole rest of the body, but the whole left pelvis and the whole left leg on down to the toes is missing.

If it WASN't sawed off, how did it get separated? If the body had already decayed when this was done, so it wouldn't have had to be sawed, why, then the little bones would have been too hard to find and separate, so it must have been done while the thing would still hang together.

Hence voila, I see a saw.

"In a year of immense tragedy & intense danger to the nation" the Chandra Levy story is a much needed distraction.

This is the first that I have heard that one entire leg was missing. (We spent the weekend in a hotel with only CNN & I never heard the words Chandra or condit all weekend.)

Joyce Chiang and Christine Mirzayan, like Chandra Levy, petite brunette California Democrat (former) interns, died mysterious, unsolved deaths. Were they connected to Gary Condit? Gary Condit's biggest expenditure for the first 6 months of 1999, was a payout of $10,000 to Mike Lynch on Feb 3, 1999, 25 days after Joyce Chiang vanished. Nothing else even comes close in $ amounts. $10,000 is such a nice even number too. A poster at the ChandraLevy.com forum has found a good nugget of info -- Condit was in Spain in August 1998, according to this page - http://www.house.gov/agriculture/105/egysp.htm , and according to the Washington CityPaper article on dead California Democrat intern Joyce Chiang, she was in Spain some time in 1998 too! 29 posted on 6/10/02 8:19 PM Pacific by concerned about politics [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 1 | View Replies | Report Abuse ] --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't stop now. You are doing great. I had missed the item about Condit and Chiang going to Spain. Its all these small things that paint the picture.

Do you think Chandra would walk four miles to the park? The sniffing dogs lost her scent at the curb, suggesting strongly that she entered a car at that point. What they were saying at first anyway, was that they were sneakers, not running or jogging shoes. Police do put out disinformation however, so who knows?
I think that she was going somewhere with Condit. I just will not believe he didn't have something to do with this unless I see absolute proof that someone else acted alone.
He just acted too guilty.

Have you ever cut up a mammal your own size, or close to it? I have in daylight and dark, on the flat and on the steep.

Even under the best conditions, it's not something that a novice would be successful at. I've seen 'Real Hunters' try it and fail.

Skeletal remains are a different story -- especially the pelvis, which could easily be broken into two halves.

You are as full of sh!t as a goose, and I really wish you could give it a very long rest.

I did not say it would be easy. I also did not say it would be hard. I just said it obviously was done. The thing speaks for itself, or in legalese, RES IPSA LOQUITUR.

I did not say I would be able to do it. I did not say YOU, or the average Joe, would be able to do it.

Somebody, however, was able to do it, for it was done.

I also did not say that it was cut up while still very fresh, necessarily, but probably was cut up while still fresh enough to hold together as a leg/ankle/foot unit, and not be dripping small pieces about. IMO. Or maybe it WAS rotten, and WAS dripping.

Like the funeral home ad, "remains to be seen."

Why is it, always, that so many wish I would shut up, without saying where I am wrong? Surely you admit this dismemberment DID occur?

Oh, I almost forgot. I was reminded that the remains, fresh or very deteriorated, could have been frozen solid, which might well simplify and de-nastify this cutting process, esp if one had access to a meat saw.
