It seems like just yesterday, your NRA was at the forefront of its most critical election battle ever. The 2000 elections resulted in the victory we fought so hard together to achieve. But, there is no rest for the weary, and we must begin NOW to prepare the groundwork to ensure our success in the 2002 elections. The anti-gunners are already re-doubling their efforts to ensure the defeat of pro-Second Amendment candidates in critical elections across the country on Election Day 2002 -- November 5. With elections for all 435 U.S. Representatives, 34 U.S. Senators, 36 Governors, and thousands of state and local officials on the ballot this year, we have our work cut out for us! We must stand ready to meet the “gun control” crowd head-on at every turn!

This is why NRA-ILA is hosting numerous FREE Grassroots-Election Workshops across the country this year in preparation for this November's elections.

At these Workshops you will learn what you can do in your own community to ensure that pro-gun candidates, at all levels of government, are elected to office on November 5. In addition to providing you with the grassroots training you will need to help elect pro-Second Amendment candidates , we will also discuss how you can work with your local Election Volunteer Coordinator (EVC) to ensure pro-gun campaigns have a steady stream of committed, pro-freedom volunteers to help with their activities leading up to Election Day. The information on upcoming scheduled Grassroots-Election Workshops is listed below.

At each of these Workshops you will hear from candidates and their staff, NRA-ILA representatives, EVCs, and your fellow NRA members on what you can do locally to elect pro-gun lawmakers to represent your views in office. The Workshops, snacks, beverages, and your special “Campaign 2002 Grassroots Kit” are absolutely free!

Please use the links below to register on-line for an NRA-ILA Grassroots-Election Workshop near you! Also, please be sure to inform your family, friends, and fellow gun owners as well. With your support and attendance at these Workshops, we look forward to victory in 2002!

We need to GOTV this election. The freedom grabbers are still strong are starting to make a comeback. The Detroit unFree Press is leading the gun grab drive here in MI. We need to put them all back in their place, and if we don't vote and GOTV, we lose. It's that simple.

Its a win win for conservatives..the same pols who support the NRA and the 2nd admendment are generally for less taxes and more freedom. Its the perfect vehicle for people who don't give much thought to the later items to work with us!
