Sure it could happen. Reverse discrimination is not politically correct though, therefore this is a non-event -"outlandish and "frivolous."
Imagine if it were the other way around. What would happen then?

A spokeswoman for Denny's described the lawsuit as "outlandish and "frivolous."Yet, they bend over and take it when a black customer is disgruntled.

There's no way this could happen. Black people do not discriminate against whites. And even if black people did, it is because they were victimized so long by whites. < /sarcasm>

Sure, I believe it happened. But, what kind of an idiot keeps going back for five months of abusively bad service?

Which lab determined that there was bug spray on the eggs and how was it proven that the waitstaff put it there?

Let me see if I understand this correctly. This man and his friends endured lousy service and bad food
for five months or did it happen only once and he decided to do something about it five months later. If it is the former, than this guy is a real moron. If it is the latter, than he probably doesn't have much of a case.
In my early years, I worked at restaurants and I can tell you for a fact that these sort of things are more commonplace than you might imagine. Unwanted customers were given lousy service in the hopes that they would get up and leave (or never come back again). Rude or abusive customers would often have their food tainted. And I'm not talking about Burger King here. I'm talking about a moderately priced sit-down restaurant that had a decent reputation. All a waitress had to do was tell the cooks that this customer gave her a hard time and the food would get spit on, or worse.
If you are the type who hassles waitstaff or act demeaning towards them or if you act haughty and arrogant in any way, beware. Since my days of working in restaurants, I have never once been rude to a waiter or waitress. If the service was lousy and I leave a small (or no tip at all) tip, I ensure that I never go back to that restaurant. Waitstaff have long memories of short tippers!
