ABC news, in interview with lady from Agriculture department, who interviewed mohammed atta for $650,000 loan has purposely garbled the tape, at least in my opinion.

She says, "He spoke of Bin Laden, who will be recognized as the world's greatest !@#@$@ (garbled) (*^(&*er)- ending in er".

Did anyone else catch this? Or figure out what she said?

9-25-01 -- Fox news just reported evidence that at least one terrorist attempted to get a US government loan to buy a crop duster!

September 25, 2001 -- Robert Epling of Community Bank of Florida said he's been told that Mohamed Atta, one of the suspected hijackers, sought a USDA loan for a crop-duster. The USDA is a tenant in the bank, which checked its files about Atta at the request of the FBI.

Do you remember where atta is from, as she said he said, that we should experience our national monuments being destroyed, like those in his country were destroyed.

Atta was from Egypt. His father is a fairly wealthy medical doctor. He was not from the "oppressed muslim masses".

Well, I can think of many many monuments in Egypt the US and Europeans and christians have helped to preserve. We moved a whole temple out of the way, piece by piece to escape the flood of the Aswan dam.

The only destruction of monuments I can remember, was when the Nazi's shot off the nose of the Sphinx in the 30's or 40's.

And we have helped preserve literally thousands of monuments in Egypt.

Ah, you're right. It's been a long time. Memories fade. In fact we're both right. Napoleon's troops did the first major nose job with cannon. However, the nazi's did a touch up, with machine gun.
