The World Anthem
Throughout the world, We sing our praise to peace,
Our bond of love, Will serve us endlessly.
May we sing loud, To fire our hopes and joys,
And let us now, Believe in trust, Eternally for all.
All the winds, And all the storms, All the passions,
Be calm. Let the earth's foundations rise,
To call us all as one.
This song we sing, To lead us through the night,
To see us through, The trying times, To a future bright.
Throughout the world, We sing our praise to peace,
Our bond of love, Will serve us true for,
All as one for all.

The 'world anthem' was substituted for the National Anthem at a recent High School graduation at Poudre High School.

I'm so thankful I live where I live. If I were a conservative living in California, I would vote with my feet and get the h*ll out.
"Atlas Shrugged" tells the story of what happens with the put-upon producers of society decide they're not gonna take it any more and just quit.
This would be the same thing.

And we will tax
All those who have
To give to those
Who will not work
But we will keep
Eighty-percent
Cause we are smart
And know what's best
If you don't like it
You'll go to jail
Cause We Are Love
And hate your guts
Now sing our song
Or we'll re-educate you
We never liked you
Anyway

It doesn't even rhyme. It sucks.

It sounds like it was written by a committee.

So where's Poudre High School?
Anyway, I gotta say somebody could probably make a good deal of money if they were to sell rolls of toilet paper with the World Anthem printed on it. I know I'd buy such a product. What a sick joke. And especially at a time like this, you still got the socialists in this country trying to kill all sense of loyalty and patriotism to one's nation. If I were there graduating I would've been sing the NATIONAL Anthem at the top of my lungs. What a disgrace.

Ok, I just threw up all over my keyboard.

Hey, I like that! Put it to the tune of It's A Small World After All and I think we have a winner...

Note that the REAL National Anthem refers to an actual event, ACTUAL heroism. Like all utopian, socialist, totalitarian, murderous "visionary" anthems and manifestoes, this one refers entirely to the wonderful FUTURE. Meanwhile, you have to break a few eggs and slaughter a few fetuses to make an omelet.

Christ, Marx, Wood and Wei,
led us to this perfect day.
Marx, Wood, Wei and Christ,
all but Wei were sacrificed.
Wood, Wei, Christ and Marx,
gave us lovely schools and parks.
Wei, Christ, Marx and Wood,
made us humble, made us good.

Put it to the tune of It's A Small World After All and I think we have a winner... You will be getting a bill from my therapist for that.
Make it stop! Make it stop!

GROSS though I can imagine plenty will fall for the slick, mindless seductiveness of it.
