I got my life jacket yesterday. It came in a package marked 'Protective Suit, Chemical', and the enclosed documentation was for a gas mask.

This story reeks like B.O. and brings tears to my eyes. We need to peel away the layers and see what's behind all these lifejacket distributions.

This item reminds me of the time that I accompanied a friend on a ride across/under the Bay from the Burkah-ley BART station to downtown San Francisco a couple of days after a freight dragged its anchor across the tunnel tube and made a very small crack in its concrete.
Our fellow passengers were not amused at the sight of him sitting there wearing a bright yellow wet suit, fins, face mask, SCUBA tank, and a &%#@-eating grin......
