Ooh, nice little spin yourself with a healthy dose of distraction thrown in. But seriously folks, you really think the civilian captain of a commerical airplane is in the "chain" with the FBI...especially pre-9/11?? You're well-meaning, but ill-informed.

No, but when you know WHO the Public Enemy is, and you know they've been involved in terrorism against Americans and American interests, and they have pledged to "bring the fight to America", and when you know in 1995 that airplanes are considered missiles to hit American targets, and when you know YEARS AGO, that these people are in the US, and are training in flight schools, including THE PENSACOLA NAVAL AIR STATION, and you know that something big is coming in the next few weeks, and the CIA knew where 2 of them LIVED in the US and let them in for some reason, when these 2 could have led them to all of them.....

What more does it take for you people to see the big picture? Isn't that what intel people are traned to do? Wasn't Al-Queda the number one enemy?

They could have picked these people up anytime. Hell, The Israelis were right down the street in Florida watching them!

I guess some people can connect the dots and some people just see stars.

And how many times have they received the same or a similar message with it turning out baseless? It continues to astound me how there are suddenly so many wise men around that could have connected the dots had they been privy. For years we have been told that it could come, it was a matter of time. Oddly, this seems like news to a lot of people.

I am in a mood to agree with you tonight because I saw "The Sum of All Fears" today. It scared me silly. Whenever a movie like this comes out, the real thing happens soon after. Like the Three Mile Island nuclear plant accident -- that happened a couple of weeks after the movie with Jane Fonda about just such an event. And a week after "Towering Inferno" that high-rise apt. building in Brazil caught fire and had people jumping from it.

And don't come back with anything except what the Bush family has direct investments with the Saudis with. None of this "They use the same broker" crap. What investments do any of the Bush family have directly with the Saudis?

Thus you asked for him to name 'what investments do any of the Bush family have directly with the Saudis.' Hence, based on your specific question, i decided to answer that question for my fellow Freeper. And i gave you two major example of people the Bush family has direct investments with (and the Binladin Family and Prince Talal are indeed Saudis).

Then, because you had also asked not onyl for names but also proof. Thus i posted the sources, and credible ones unless you believe C-Span and Fortune magazine to be shams, so you could go and have a look at them for yourself.

And if you read my post (no.143 to anyone who wants to assess independently what i am saying to this fellow) i have answered the question according to the exact parameters you set on your post! Those were what you amateurishly refer to as 'direct investments,' amd it is not a 'broker relationship' since in both cases the Bush Family sit on the board of Directors with both the Binladins and the Prince.

Hence i have answered your question as you asked it. And any fair arbitrator would agree that i have followed a coherent process to answer your question as you yourself asked it! You set the parameters of the question, i answered according to the parameters of the question.

And this is different from you buying a stock that is also owned by me. We are not linked at all since we are simple shareholders with possible no geographical proximity and probably no knowledge of each other. However in the above cases they sit in the same board, have met several times, confer with each other before making decisions, and sign contracts and strategic directives jointly. That is deeper than what you refer as a 'broker relationship.'

Sadly i feel you are nto satisfied, and that you will not be satisfied by any example i provide. However the reason i answer is because other Freepers will read our little chit-chat, and that they will be more likely to view my points in a more lucid manner.

i am not criticizing the Bushs' if that is what you think i am doing. I am just answering a question you asked a fellow Freeper (in a rather brusque actually).

At a minimum, Mr. Mubarak's account adds detail and drama to a list of warnings about potential terrorist attacks that American intelligence agencies fielded in the days, weeks and months before Sept. 11.

I'm arriving an hour late to this thread and have only read this far, Howlin. I notice a concerted effort of the leftist media of late to focus on the 'evidence' of the past year while totally ignoring the previous eight years.

I don't fault Bush for 9/11, but I tend to think that our FBI and CIA screwed the pooch and heads should roll.
