Police learned nothing from cabdrivers when they sought help last year,
but Chief Ramsey said they have yet to check the trip logs that drivers
are supposed to keep.
Huh? Is this crummy, biased reporting by the media or are the Keystone Cops on the case?

W"as it a sexual assault? An attack by a stranger, by someone she knew? All of these are possibilities," Police Chief Charles H. Ramsey said Friday". The Chief added "Our investigation has also uncovered other questions: Was it a weekday? A weekend? A holiday? Again, all three of these are possibilities."
"We anticipate that as our investigation proceeds, we will dicover more questions that we can provide to you. After this first two-three week long discovery phase which entails the development of new questions, we hope to move into Phase two where will start to look for answers."

Well why not have Condit submit to the lie detector again. He did it once before but only with questions his lawyer preapproved.

Why had they not already checked the drivers logs? Are the Keystones stupid or lazy? What would someone need with her keys. Chiangs body was found within so many feet or yards of her ID.She was from Cali and worked near Condits office.Did they ever send anything to the FBI for testing in her case? The Condit/Chung interview was more than just someone caught having an affair. Slime Condit is hiding much more.

There are no suspects, and no clues, and no ideas because the DC Police didn't try to find out what happened to Chandra. They were so busy protecting her lover that they let the evidence get buried along with Chandra.
They are a national joke, and a disgrace.

Apparently, Chandra's still around (at least in some respects):
Grieving Adam Levy, younger brother of Chandra, surprised all at the memorial service for Chandra in Modesto on Tues., when he suddenly stood up to speak. He said that although he had never taken piano lessons, and had not shown an interest in the piano, lately he'd been able to sit down at the instrument and play his sister's favorite songs. "It's a sign from her," he said, "that she has transformed and is now a part of me. She has become another form of energy." He was applauded. [Welcome to California, land of fruits and nuts]
Large silver tureens filled with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups were offered to the 1,000 sympathizers as they filed in to the service. Her uncle offered "a top 10 list" of adjectives to describe Chandra. Among them: "adventurous," "exuberant," "bubbly," "vivacious." [Is is just me, or is the Letterman schtick a tad inappropriate for a memorial service?]
Gary Condit did not attend. But Anne Marie Smith, the Ess Eff stewardess who also had an affair with Condit, did. ...
