yep.....hehehe. Libertarians are pot-smoking cheap liberals.
To: StopDemocratsDotCom
Hmmm... does this sound like a "pot-head" to you? Rick is anti-drug use, but he has read the Constitution... Want to LEGALLY make drugs illegal? Amend the Constitution. Until then don't complain about the government walking all over every other right in the Constitution. When you tell them it's OK to ignore it for the Drug War, they will ignore the bill of rights when you are before a jury too...
Here's how Rick feels about Drugs:

What the Government's Not Telling You about Marijuana
"I wouldn't touch a joint with a ten-foot-pole," says Rick Stanley, the Libertarian nominee for the U.S. Senate seat held by Wayne Allard. "But the marijuana plant should be legalized -- to help America's farmers, to bring back some old-fashioned home remedies, and to stop ruining the lives of harmless people who never hurt anybody."
"The Drug War takes too much money from those of us who keep their heads on straight," Stanley continued. "It's no skin off my nose if people want to ruin their lives with drugs. Let 'em, I just don't want to spend billions of dollars to house them in luxury prisons."
Legalizing hemp, the non-psychoactive form of marijuana, could be a tremendous boost to America's strapped farmers. Nobody can get high off of hemp, and hundreds of things can be made from it.
Products that can be made from hemp include fuels, fuel oil and lubricants; foodstuffs like chips and ice cream; paper; clothing, canvas, rope, and nets; soap; plastics; paints, sealants and varnishes; caulking; bricks; lamp oil; furniture; animal feed; and even lotions and ointments.
"Think of all of the extra money farmers could earn if we just let them start growing hemp," Stanley said. "And there would be more products available for you to buy, too. Everyone would come out ahead."
The burgeoning promise of marijuana in the field of medicine is another reason for the federal government to immediately end its international war on cannabis. "Hundreds of thousands of otherwise law-abiding Americans are put in prison every year, when all they've done is try to make themselves feel better."
Despite a 20-year American ban on marijuana research, the drug has been shown to be medically effective in many ways. It's an appetite stimulant that helps anorexics, AIDS patients, and chemotherapy patients. It reduces muscle spams caused by muscular dystrophy and epilepsy. It opens the bronchia of asthma patients. It reduces the internal pressure that leads to glaucoma; it cures insomnia and migraines; and women throughout history have used it to relieve menstrual discomfort.
"The federal government is denying the truth here," Stanley said. "Nobody has ever died from smoking pot. Pot smokers may not be real bright, but they're a lot smarter than the clowns in the DEA who continue to classify marijuana as if it were cocaine, or heroin."
In Colorado, the law that allows access to medical marijuana has been neutered by Gov. Bill Owens, who has threatened to grant the U.S. Attorney access to Colorado's medical marijuana registry.
"The traitor Allard would vote to imprison all of your children if that provision was wrapped in an anti-drug bill," Stanley said. "Even though I don't support casual drug use, I have no choice under the Constitution but to call for an end to the War on Drugs. Dealing with a few stoned-out citizens is better than living under tyranny."
To: LibertyRocks
yes he does.
To: KQQL
And a vote for Strickland is a vote for victim disarmament, and a vote for Allard is a vote for a traitor! So we are back at the only logical choice: Stanley for U.S. Senate the only candidate who has read the Constitution and won't lie when he takes his oath of office.
Are you suggesting we send a traitor and a liar to the Senate instead, and keep voting for "Benedict" Allard?
Fool me once... as the saying goes. "Benedict" Allard has PROVEN himself a liar.
Read:
An Open Letter to Wayne Allard to hear exactly how "Benedict" Allard sold out your rights.
Restore Freedom & the Constitution! Vote Stanley for U.S. Senate!

I doubt the taking of 'his oath of office' will be much of a concern as he'll most likely not be placed in that circumstance...... jmo. But good luck in his efforts....

There is absolutely NO chance that I will vote for Stanley.
If I wanted to put Strickland into office, I'd just vote for him outright.
Stanley is a kook and the Libertarian strategy is to throw the Senate to the Democrats.
Don't be fooled!!

That may be the National LPs strategy, but not ours.
BENEDICT ALLARD HAS GOT TO GO...
STRICKLAND IS AFTER FIREARMS DEALERS...
Rick is running to win, unlike 99.9% of the other LP candidates... He's got 4%(Late April) already without his name even being mentioned in the pollster's questions, which means the public is speaking up!
Notice, there have no polls released lately for this race -- I wonder why that is... maybe not Rick, but there _has_ to be a reason. What campaign have you ever heard of where the polls stop being released from everywhere for like a month?
Rick doesn't get his money from the national LP. They have thrown hundreds of thousands of dollars away to "skew" elections in a few targetted races, thinking that advances Liberty somehow.
Rick's campaign has spent a little under 12,000 for 4% of the vote. Obviously something is resonating with these people, and his ain't the normal "losertarian" campaign (as all the Republicrats like to say)!
