Further research shows that the pic was "originally" posted on a "Kingwood Cable" web site in Texas. Very odd posted there. Maybe not Registered (who lives in Michigan) but some other talented person in Houston created and posted this on his company's website for the heck of it.

I searched all of Google's 680+ Condit photos, enlarged the ones showing his hands and found none where he is wearing a ring, aside from the Judo Master sequence.

Gary Condit is a SKINNY dude with girlie hands....Chandra was a pretty tall gal.....kind of the same build...a ring-finger ring would be a pinky ring on a skinny guy.

I believe I remember the ring being pointed out here on FR the very evening of the karate-chop incident. If the picture is fabricated, it was fabricated at the time.

The ring is there in the same photo on other websites. Reg is not hoaxing.

Could there by two rings? The day her remains were found, it was reported that she was identified by her ring. Could that be the one in this picture? I agree that any ring of Chandra's would not fit Condit's pinkie.

It was only in the initial stages of the investigation that Condit, through deceptive statements, led people to believe he did not have a car. By the time of the karate photo, the D.C. Police -- and all of us following the case -- knew about the red car.

I'm sure I read somewhere either yesterday or today that Chandra's ring was a size 4. Can't remember where I saw this but maybe someone else can.

I believe you. It is quite clear there is something in Nautilinurse's post. It just has more glare from that angle. I recently had eye surgery and I can see something is there, for heaven's sake (I have pretty good vision still though).

It is a completely different photo from Nautilinurse's, with a different angle. Don't claim forgery unless you have a reason to.

The RING IS ON GOOGLE! Reg is not fooling with us! Where is the pic in the ModBee? Did they alter it? & WHY?

The ring is, indeed, present in the photo I grabbed from Modbee.com today. You can make out the ring on the underside of his hand. Registered's photo just shows that ring more clearly.

No fabrication by Registered. I saw that photo the day it was published. One photographer took both of them.

Chandra was petite 5' 3". Weighed in a little over 110#
