If the fluids were in the crotch area it's improbable that the attacker would have put them back on her after raping her, then took them off again and tied her up. He would have taken them off and tied her up and then raped her.

Too risky if the objective really is murder. Why rape the woman and risk having DNA evidence found if you can simply strangle her and walk away.

I've been wondering about Kasich. He spoke out in support of Condit, early in the case, but then as more and more dirt came out about Condit's lifestyle, Kasich did a disappearing act. He even stopped appearing on FOX for quite awhile. It made me think that he was embarassed about having spoken up for condit and that maybe he had participated in some of Condit's sexcapades.

Yes, it could. And it could also form a secondary motive all its own, quite apart from any desire to deceive. If the murder were "outsourced," a twisted "jobber" might get this idea all on his own. Then we would have a murder with separate motives from two different perpetrators.

During the struggle she might have managed to grab him. If he had a watch or bracelet on his left hand and had his left hand around her neck, in the struggle she might have cut his pinky with a bracelet or watch band that he wore.

Put your left or right hand on your own neck like you would strangle yourself. Notice that your pinky is forward and easiest to grab while your other fingers are close to the neck.

So, possibly the clue in registered picture has nothing to do with Chandra's ring but the ring he wore on his pinky was used to cover a scar ?
