I'd have to agree with you. He seems to have too much info. Maybe that's why I suspected him at first of being involved. Kind of like the kid that breaks the window and runs home to tell his dad that "some kid broke a window down the street".
I will say though, that I do believe him on the bracelet thing. Linda Zamsky described Chandra's bracelet before Anne Marie Smith appeared on the scene and Anne Marie has an identical one that Condit gave her. Flammini is the one that said he was with Gary when he bought them.

Flaminni saw a lot of things in his travels with Condit. But he's not very bright, and Condit employed some of the brainwashing evident in the Condit kids on him. And he's not above taking a few hundred or thousand dollars from some tabloid to babble on for twenty minutes and give them a headline.

"I'm Chad, Gary's not a perfect man." "I'm Cadee, Gary's not a perfect man." makes me think of an ol' poli sci prof who liked to remind the class that semester, "what politicians really do is more than 98% symbolic, and less than 2% of any substance. . ."

The song is the icing on the cake.
Well, Mr. Burns had done it
The power plant had won it

Mike Scioscia's tragic illness made us smile
While Wade Boggs lay unconscious on the barroom tile

Scanned the new Enquirer today. It's mostly speculation as well, but has three new facts that I noticed, seemingly from LE sources in DC:
1. Dried bodily fluids were found on the crotch area of her running tights.
2. Her hyoid bone was "damaged," but not broken, indicating death by strangulation/choking.
3. A baskin-robbins ice cream container was found off the side of the road between Klingle mansion and where the body was recovered.

Doubt if the ice cream container means anything. If memory serves, there's a Baskin-Robbins outlet a half a mile away on Connecticut Ave. That kind of garbage is extremely common in parks.

As for the "dried bodily fluids," I suspect a DNA test could determine whether they are Chandra's or those of any known suspect.

As for the damaged hyoid bone, I wonder why the ME didn't say that that indicated a probable cause of death.

2. Her hyoid bone was "damaged," but not broken, indicating death by strangulation/choking. Hey, I was right! I discount the ice cream cup too.

Uh, oh. The Mama Cass Syndrome (death by ham sandwich!)

Since I came entirely too close to choking on some takeout roast pork one lunchtime a few months ago, I have been very careful about what I get for takeout lunch. I avoid meat that looks too dry and lean.
But, if Chandra had choked on that sort of thing, would it have done anything to her hyoid bone?

Baskin Robbins is on the partial list of web sites she looked at!

Ya should have been an investigator. So why do you discount the ice cream cup knowing she planned to go there before the ''trip'' to see "?".
To: aristeides
I tend to agree -- the link here, for anyone who doesn't remember, is that she had printed out B-R coupons before looking up Klingle mansion on MapQuest.

Besides Baskin Robbins, the only thing that stands out in the list of websites are the three trashy show biz sites, I for one didn't know existed and I like to think that I get around. They tell us something about the mindset of this "serious young woman" with a graduate degree. Entertainment Tonight? C'mon!

I was using "choking" as a synonym for "strangulation." I was,in fact, being redundant. mea cupa.
The theorizing in The Enquirer had a forearm placed around the front of her neck and her head snapped forward.

Jim McDougal...died in an isolation cell of a heart attack because they wouldn't give him his "nitro". Truth is stranger than fiction, I'm afraid.
