The fact that he never called her again is a HUGE smoking gun IMO. Also proves he's just damn dumber than I thought

I need a legal opinion here, going to ask it of the best.

If SarahW's scenario proves true, Condit and Chandra had met up at the park, but he left her to go home alone, on the way out she is killed by the RCP predator, does Condit have any liability, criminal or civil, for not telling the police that he had met with her in that park, in such-and-such location, thereby they do not search thoroughly enough, miss finding her in the searches last year? Or is it merely a case (if true) that he was just an extremely insensitive, selfish man, more concerned over himself and his job rather than the life of someone he called a great person and a good friend, but no legal jeopardy?

True. It was one thing that he didn't call her again right away. After all, he thought she had not told anybody about their affair, so why would anybody be looking at whether he called her or not. But, once Dr. and Mrs. Levy called him to inquire about their daughter he had to know that Chandra had talked. You would think he would do some CYA and make some calls to try and "locate" her. IMO
