Maybe you want to give to the CLUB FOR GROWTH, the Christian Coalition, or the NRA.BUT I URGE YOU: PLEASE, LET US NOT LOSE SIGHT OF HOW CLOSE WE ARE: A STRONG CONSERVATIVE CONGRESS WILL BE A VICTORY FOR THE CONSTITUTION!

Give what you can!

My hopes:

1. Jean Carnahan loses in Missouri.
2. Tim Johnson loses in South Dakota (put egg on the 'HOLE's face!)
3. Florida voters BOOT two SCOFFLAW judges who voted to permit Al Gore to steal the election.

My main wish is to TAKE BACK THE SENATE!

When people are considering donating, please consider the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) headed by Senator Bill Frist, M.D. (R-TN) who is doing a great job in overseeing the financing for the Republican candidates for Senate that truly are in competitive races and need the money. My Regain the Majority Tour t-shirt targets the following DemocRAT Senators:

Max Baucus, Montana
Tim Johnson, South Dakota
Robert Torricelli, New Jersey
Mary Landrieu, Louisiana
Max Cleland, Georgia
Paul Wellstone, Minnesota
Jean Carnahan, Missouri
Tom Harkin, Iowa

Please visit www.regainthemajority.com to show your support (NOTE: Also the home of the NRSC)

Thanks for any support you can give to Regain the Majority!

Oh SunStar, I do so agree with you - but I would like to take it a little farther - I want us to increase our lead in the House - I don't want any 1 or 2 majority (even though I realize that's better than losing) - also I want a real majority in the Senate - to put Daschle in his place. And I of course do so want Simon for Governor.

Plus I'm seriously considering going to the Conference in Las Vegas to learn how to be a more effective grassroots participant in elections. I encourage everyone to try to make the conference.

Let's keep up these posts so more people will know how important this election is and will hopefully help a little finalcially. I have given to NRSC on several occasions and agree Frist is doing a good job. I also have given to John Thune, SD, and he actually running about 7 points ahead of Johnson and wouldn't that just be a kick for Dashole? Bush has been to campaign for most of the guys you mentioned and also Elizabeth Dole in N.C. He's working hard to take back the Senate and then we can go to town on the conservative agenda and the JUDGES!

I'd like to see Illinois Senator Richard Durbin added to that list. Like they say here in Chicago, we elected Durbin and wound up with Dick.

Agree with you especially with the election cycle about to get in full swing in June! We need to keep these type of articles bumped and out in front of everyone! We need to TAKE BACK THE SENATE so we can control the Committee Chairs!

The President is going to kick off the election cycle at the President's Dinner on Wednesday, June 19th, which is sponsored by the House of Representatives and Senate Republicans. This will be a huge fundraiser (at the price of tickets it had better be) for Republican candidates! Vince Gill will be the featured entertainer.

After that, I think we should start spotlighting the Republican Congressional candidates in the tight races in particular to see if we can drum up support for them on here as some of them are going to need a lot of campaign donations to carry on an effective campaigns!

I'm with you all the way! I have Bill Simon to get elected in CA as well. I've been working right along trying to keep people pumped up so we can GET OUT THE VOTE! As you know, that's the whole deal. I received my invite to the big fundraiser in Washington but it's just too expensive as much as I would love to support the party and go. I'm attending Simon's on the 14th for Flag Day and I hope anybody readying this from California will consider coming also. Keep up the Posts and LET'S STAY ALIVE and ACTIVE.

Like you, I would love to go to DC but it is very pricey and definitely not in my budget! If all goes well, Steve Largent will be the next Oklahoma Governor to be right there with Simon at the Governor's Conference next year!

Jean Carnahan's up for re-election this year? That can't be right. Aren't Senate terms 6 years? In which case, she'd be up for re-election no sooner than 2006. Or is there some kind of exception for the relatives of dead candidates who take their seat in the Missouri State Constitution?

Jean Carnahan wasn't elected, she was only appointed. It was her deceased husband, MEL Carnahan, who was on the ballot and "won" the election. Since Mel was not alive to take office, Jean was appointed out of sympathy by Missouri's DemocRAT gubernor in 2000 and is thus required to run as a "special" candidate in the next election which is this year. Whoever wins this '02 election, either her or Talent or whomever, will still see their term end in 2006 because the six year rotation of senators never changes. It is based on when the respective state was admitted to the union.

I want Jeb Bush to get re-elected Governor in FL and I'd love to see Simon whoop Davis in CA. I'd also like to see our FReeper Jay Wolfe win the Senate seat in WV. Thune beating Johnson in SD would be cool too. Heck, I'd just like to see more real Constitutionalists get elected anywhere.

I want to see GOP increase majority in House, re-take the Senate, and confirm three new conservative justices to the US Supreme Court during 2003-04.

I also want to see Terry McAuliffe crap in his pants on election night 2002.

All of what you have said would be A-OK with me, but we don't have to wait till Nov. for McAuliffe to crap in his pants- he's already full of crap.
