Romans 3:23-25

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

KEYWORDS: pray
Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this beautiful day, and for Your wonderful grace which you give so generously. You have blessed me with a loving family and good friends to which I am so very grateful. Thank you Father for all that you give.

Lord I lift up President Bush and pray that you would keep him safe as he travels. Give to him the wisdom and discernment as he works with other countries making decisions. Guide his steps may they be in keeping with Your will for him. May he be a witness of Your love to those who see him.

Lord I also lift up this country and pray that you would revive us, renew our minds, set our hearts afire, and choose to serve our creator not ourselves or the countless other idols that we have put before you. Father be with the many saints who are persecuted for Your names sake. Give to them courage and wisdom and for those held captive I pray for their release. I pray this in Your Son’s Holy and precious name, Amen.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for calling us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Help us to bless You, our Lord, at all times and let Your praise continually be in our mouths. Let our mouths be filled with Your praise and with Your honor all the day. Help us to hope in You continually and to praise you more and more each day. For You alone are worthy of praise and honor, glory and blessing.

We ask Your blessing upon our President today, Father, as he returns from his European trip. Thank You for all that You allowed him to accomplish. Thank You for Your shield of protection around him. Please use his labors from his tour to bring about a harvest of good for America and for this world. Father, we know that You are able to take our imperfect efforts and use them for our good and Your glory. We pray, Lord, that You would make the benefits of this outreach in Europe grow in their scope and consequence. Thank You that You have made our President more than a conqueror through Your love for him.

Please grant a short season of rest to our President, Lord, and please fill his heart with peace. You have promised to ordain peace for him for You have wrought all his works in him. Please fill him with all joy and peace in believing, that he may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Enable him to go out with joy, and to be led forth with peace.

We seek also the gift of wisdom for our President, that he may always respond to every situation in a way that brings glory and honor to You. Fill his mind with Your thoughts. Help him to see with Your eyes and to hear with Your ears. Please give him Your words to speak. Instruct him even as he is sleeping, that he may always walk in Your uprightness.

Please bring comfort, confidence, patience, and protection to our ground troops in Afghanistan and our military men and women stationed throughout the world. Help each of them to be led to a saving knowledge of Your grace.

Bless Your prayer warriors, Lord. Each of us needs You and relies upon Your mighty answers to prayer. Thank You for bidding us to pray and for promising to respond. We are thankful, Lord, for You are good and Your mercy endures to all generations. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We thank you that the President's trip thus far has been safe and we ask you to continue to watch over him and bring him home safely now. Protect him, Lord, from all those with evil intent towards him.

Lord, we thank you for giving us a leader at this time who knows You and listens to You .... who begins each day on his knees in communion with You. Grant him wisdom and discernment as he deals with the complex decisions he has to make. Watch over his family, Lord, and keep them safe from all harm.

Father, You graced us with a wonderful land, rich with variety, beauty, and natural resources and for so long the citizens of our country acknowledged You as the source of our blessings. But for decades now there has been a creeping sickness overtaking our nation, turning more and more against You and Your will. Now, all too often, what is right and good is held up to scorn and ridicule and that which is dark is being perceived as "good." We know the source of this evil and we implore You to bind satan and free our country from his grasp. Send Your Holy Spirit across our nation; open the eyes of those who are spiritually blind; open the ears of those who would not hear Your word; soften the hearts of those who have turned their backs on You. Forgive our sins, O Lord, and revive us; bring us back to a knowledge of and devotion to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous!
For praise from the upright is beautiful . . .
For the word of the Lord is right,
And all His work is done in truth.
He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord .
-----(Psalm 33:1,4-5).

Praying with you.

Praying in agreement...

I thank You Father, that we may come to you with our needs. Thank you for your grace, freely given as we come before your throne with confidence and faith.

Tonight I ask that our leaders have wisdom, knowledge and discernment in the affairs of the day and this time. That you open doors for them to use the abilities you endow them with. I ask that their decisions will meet with Your favor and be pleasing to You. Meet the days' needs for them Lord, day after day. Please bless the families of all who serve this nation, including all those who serve honorably in government, and in military.

I pray that this nation have growing numbers of leaders they can respect, and that they will respect. Help us to be informed to elect such men and women into office. Help the people and leaders of this nation to value honor, O God. Amen

"May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be adored, glorified, loved and preserved throughout the world now and forever Amen."m

We thank You, dear Jesus, for protecting our President Bush during his trip through the European area. May the words he spoke to the citizenry of those countries be taken to heart. Many are those who would take phrases from his speeches out of context and ridicule and demean, not only our President but likewise our country. Dear Jesus, forgive them for they no not what they do, have mercy on all....in the name of Jesus we pray.
