ontroversial Brooklyn peace activist Adam Shapiro married the "enemy" yesterday.
Shapiro, a Jew who has been an outspoken critic of the Israeli invasion of the West Bank, tied the knot with longtime love Huwaida Arraf — a Palestinian peace activist from Detroit.
The couple — he is 30, she is 26 — were married in a Catholic ceremony at a Detroit-area church. The location was kept secret because Shapiro and his family in Sheepshead Bay have received death threats from angry Jews. More than 200 people attended the nuptials.
Shapiro traded his trademark grubby T-shirt and bandanna for a black tuxedo. The bride was radiant in a full-length white gown. The newlyweds met while working for a group that promotes cultural understanding between Jews and Palestinians.
The Shapiros, who live in Ramallah, will be honeymooning in the war-torn West Bank.

The only thing Jewish about the guy, is his attempt to buy retail at the wholesale price.

Does this putz have a clue what this ritual is supposed to represent? As it so happened yesterday I was at a real Jewish wedding (Jewish boy married Jewish girl--what a concept!) where this custom was explained for the benefit of people who might not understand why it is done.
"I will put Jerusalem at the head of all my joys." Meaning, that even at a wedding we mourn the destrustion of the Temple, caused mainly by jerks like Adam Shapiro.
Adam- “Oy baby, lets make lava!”
Huwaida- “Oh yes my darling, let me get my scimitar and C4, and call some of your Jewish friends over to watch.”

Why is the press describing this man as a Jew,and implying this woman is a Muslim? Neither appears to take their relative alleged religious affiliations very seriously. If they did,they wouldn't have been married in a Catholic church.

Impossible! We all know from FR posters here that Jews never get angry or threaten anybody in any way. They are incapable of being aggressors.

They were most likely attending to see somebody bite the head off a live chicken. They could have sold tickets to this freak show.
Because they tried that in the 1930's and 40's,and discovered that as a survival tactic,it didn't work real well.
You got that right, imo. Did you see the "interview" with Pearl before he got his head chopped off? In the one I saw, it seemed to me he was putting down (the policies of) Israel, and, America. Well, his leftist views (imo) sure didn't help him.
