As always, soliciting FReeper comments, opinions and observations.
Note that Timmy Russert is having another love-fest.

rock star Bono, Oh, please. I love their music, I have seen them in concert twice, but please.
I don't need "Bono" (not his real name) dazzling us with how Africa is "hurting." I know that. Their leaders are corrupt.

Condi looking good on FOX News Sunday.
Speaking of a transition of Russian-American relations out of the "Post Cold War" era. Iranian nuclear program won't get in the way of larger issues.
Methinks Putin nailed down the promise of eight billion dollars that the Iraqis owe Russia.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

DAschle called Cheny a liar too....said CHeney called him and asked him to not investigate this at all by committee....on January 24th (??). But TImmy said something and Daschle says ...'The Motivation was there to not investigate...blah blah blah'....more clinton speak??

Gag alert on the Timmy & Tommy Show! I refuse to dial into that lovefest. Maybe Timmy felt that since he gave Veep Cheney an hour last week, he has to do the same for the opposing side. Too bad it's Memorial Day weekend & viewership will be in the dumpster. :)

I guess we will be seeing the lib David Corn on FOX News from now on. He replaced Jeff Cohen on FOX News Watch yesterday and will soon come up on the panel on FOX News Sunday. He can be just as exasperating as Jeff Cohen. UGH!

From Paul's (his real name) website:
Today, he counts --and has counted-- among his numerous acquaintances and friends such names and faces as Brian Eno, Luciano Pavarotti, Sting and Trudie Styler, Quincy Jones, Tina Turner, Bjork, President Bill Clinton, Jack Nicholson, Mohammed "Mo" Sacirbey, U-N Secretary General Kofi Annan, Frank and Barbara Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Salman Rushdie, Sean Penn, David Bowie, Van Morrison, Sir Bob Geldof, Phil Joanou, Johnny Cash, Billy Corgan, William Gibson, and Muhammad Ali.
Despite the obvious privilege of his lifestyle, Bono continues to display a generosity and genuine nature that is impressive to both friends and fans alike...the kind of person who could work a roomful wealthy socialites, then stop to chat with fans on the street about music, and then be seen giving cash handouts to the homeless.
Oh, please.

Russert did a fine job of making DASS HOLE back down.
I have one question. How many DC Yellow Pages is DASS HOLE sitting on?
To: Alas Babylon!
I turned on the TV and there was Daschle.
Everyone in the family leaped for the remote at the same time and we nearly had a mass-head-banger.
I saved the day by turning the set off by puilling the plug.
There needs to be government warnings on Sunday talk shows.
To: Alas Babylon!
I turned on MTP toward the end and saw Doris Kearns Goodwin and David Broder with Tim R. I thought, "They should rename this show "Meet the Liberals"". It seems more appropriate now I learn that I "missed" Tom Daschel.

Thanks for your Sunday morning work every week. I'm on the left coast so I can check in with you before I turn the TV on but this morning I hit the remote first. Timmy/Tommy love fest - no way to greet the day. It is sure taking little TomTom a long time to learn how not to put his foot in his mouth. He didn't bring the Bush popularity poll figure down last week, and I hope the backlash is even stronger this time.

Turned on Meet The Depraved long enough to hear little Tommy Daschle say that Dims have always been for tax cuts and then mentiion the so-called "Social Security trust fund" so I turned the tv off.
Double header at the ballpark this afternoon ;-) Bye.

Thank you for the opportunity to rant.
I saw Howard Kurtz this morning saying that the reason for the numerous warnings lately is a wag the dog senario. He claimed the Bush administration is trying to divert critisizm from the fact that they screwed up the intellegence prior to 9/11.
He said it was up to the press to dig into this story and get the facts out to the mercun people.
From now on, it will be hard not to hit the abuse button when I see a Kurtz article!
