Well, her parents held out hope until yesterday, remember, that she was alive. We may have felt differently, but now that they acknowledge her death, they are convinced it was murder. My hear goes out to them. I should have made my post more clear.

hear = heart.

One thing that seems interesting is that there is no mention of shorts, jeans, pants or underwear being found. They mention a sweatshirt and a bra but no other clothing. Is this correct and what's the significance?Various reports cite sweat pants, sweatshirt, jogging bra, Spandex running tights, leotards, panties, running shorts, t-shirt.
The significance for me is not that there's too little clothing, but too much. She would not have been wearing running shorts and running tights and sweatpants and a t-shirt and a sweat shirt on an 80+ degree day.

No, this is not correct. Each article tends to leave out one or more items. If I recall correctly there was the walkman, sweatshirt, jogging pants, sports bra, panties, ring with initials C L.

Let's consider the DCPD's well-known aversion to finding a Congressman guilty of anything. I have read that an enormous number of Congressmen and Senators get pulled over for drunk driving, or assorted traffic violations, and the police let them off. I'm sure DC gets a good percentage of their operating budget from Congress...It could very well be that they would prefer not to find Condit guilty.
Having said that, it is hard to imagine ordering the entire search party "not to find" the body. That is just too much. Either they just flat missed it, or the killers planted her body there after the heat had died down.

Source says Gary served in Congress on Wed. and was seen at the Capitol until about 7 pm Wednesday, but "HAS NOT BEEN SEEN SINCE AND HAS NOT BEEN PRESENT FOR ANY VOTES SINCE!"
To: crystalk
Golly, I wonder if Gary is not feeling up to par...? /sarc
To: rwt60
My files show a "leotard" was found.
To: crystalk
He's in mourning, obviously.

. If her body was evident to the wild animals, most likely buzzards or local dogs, why not to the police bloodhounds? What if the body was put inside multiple layers of heavy garbage bags, sealed with duct tape? Perhaps the smell wouldn't escape until the duct tape started breaking down from moisture?

"If it ever saw the light of day it would be burned to the ground." Wow. That about sums it up. What a great line.

Levy is alive and in the Federal Witness Protection Program. The body found was one of Bubba's bimbos. She was probably going to spill the beans about the twisted relationship she, Bubba and Dick Morris had going on.
Levy is reported to be living on a kibbutz in Israel. Condit is in the process of trying to convince the Hezbollah to attack that kibbutz. However, that particular kibbutz isn't on the schedule to be bombed until 2003.

I put myself in his shoes. There is no way or benefit to him for Chandra to be murdered. It's that simple. Unless she stopped taking her birth control, got knocked up by him, and told him that it was his baby and she wouldn't be getting an abortion.

DC cops are saying the body was planted. See today's Washington Times.
To: The Old Hoosier
If this leak is true (them thinking her body was put there later) only means that have found something with the remains. Maybe they have found a bed sheet, blanket, or plastic sheet under some of the remains. This would mean she was wrapped up in something and then hauled to the area. If her remains were wrapped up then some DNA evidence may just pop up on what she was wrapped in. We can only hope that her killer did wrap her up in something and hope that they will be able find some incriminating evidence on what she was wrapped up in.

I didn't know John Kasich ran for president. I remember his name being tossed around as a possible, but was he in a primary? I must have missed that. What about Gephardt? Didn't he run in 88?
